Katie is a lion shifter who hunts dangerous werewolves with a sixth sense that is a product of a virus she contracted from her enemies. Meanwhile Jordan the alpha lion shifter, and Katie's destined mate, has been infected as well only for male shifters it has deadly consequences. Katie must save Jordan from the virus, an old nemesis, and himself before it's too late.

This is a book deep into the series I would seriously advise anyone to start with book one or you will be lost. The good parts: the author supplies a lot of action, suspense, and multiple plots. The romance is there, steamy scenes are....ok. There is always a big, hot, alpha male at every turn....yummy. This series reminds me a lot of the Breeds series by Lora Leigh, (I don't know who began their series first it is pretty similar???) so if you like that then you should like this one.

Some negatives: the author supplies a lot of action, suspense, and multiple plots.....sometimes too much. I mean in this book alone the female lead is dealing with three stalkers, a stubborn and seriously ill mate, a war with multiple factions, along with all the personal dramas among her friends and allies. It can get confusing and overwhelming. She also seems to struggle with writing dialogue, I don't know who is talking or which gesture belongs to who, can be frustrating. This is not consistent but frequent.

In any case it is entertaining, not the greatest written series, but decent. Enjoy!
