Just got it today, but i’m impressed with the look and feel of the machine—feels nicer and a little more solid than our last one, (different maker), that we must have had a decade. I wasn’t trying to spend hundreds of dollars on a home shredder, but also didn’t want to throw away money on something cheap that’s gonna break within a year or two.

My priorities were: has wheels, is micro-cut, has at least 4 star overall review, has pull out bin, can shred credit cards.

Only time will tell if it lasts—we basically just shred credit card applications and the occasional sensitive document, which means we shred a handful of papers each week. I do have a habit of letting mail pile up and then doing a big clean and shredding a big stack of papers all at once—this comes with an over heat feature that lights up and even tells you how long to wait right next to the light, (meaning you don’t have to dig around for a manual). I obviously haven’t made it overheat yet, but I do like that this feature is here. I’m pretty sure that’s how I killed my last one.

No update to this review means it’s still working well for us.
