This was a fun, lighter read even though there was a dark, sinister hunter-creature tracking the main character, Bronwen. I enjoyed the clever dialogue between her and Felix—it made me smile. Overall, the story is a basic romance. I was surprised but not disappointed at the ending, although I can see where a lot of readers might be. It made sense considering the witch-curse plot line. In a more practical moment after I finished reading, I did wonder where the boys got their food to put into the castle’s kitchen (unless I missed the explanation).
