Customer Review

Because I live in the lighting capitol of the United States, I have my Netgear 16-port switch's AC plug attached to a surge protector (Tripp-Lite) in my network storage box. If you have need of a network switch, you should already be running a quality surge suppression device to every piece of gear on your network. If not, you're taking a gamble with your device's lifespan. But I digress...

As for the Netgear 16-port switch? Well, amigo - It's worked flawlessly for me. Operation is literally plug-n-play. My Eero router feeds an Ethernet cable into the Netgear switch and from there, the Netgear feeds Ethernet cables throughout our home. I have had zero problems. It's a solid piece of kit and I would happily buy it again. Both Eero and Netgear have been rock solid for our home.

I also read each and every single review on this product before buying this switch. Some were amusing.
