I was excited to get this book since Abnett is my favorite 40k author but the writing is predictable, boring, not very action packed which I usually don’t mind because Abnett is good at developing interesting characters but I find myself falling asleep reading this book. I’ve only finished the first book in the omnibus, about 250 pages so far. Not impressed at all, his other books were fantastic.
