Customer Review

Basically an assortment of types of addiction with vague descriptions of how mindfulness cn help. I would have liked more by way of specific instructions and guidelines and less review of his and other people's studies. it is also a bit odd to be hearing so much about BF Skinner's ancient work. if he wanted to go into research, there is so much more known now about the neuroscience of these topics. Odd that he did not really cover obesity, which is perhaps the major area that afflicts the population. In contrast, a book that does a super job of integrating neuroscience, addiction issues (around food) and highly practical coping skills is Susan Pierce Thompson's Bright Line Eating.
