Overall smiles :) I made a blunt list of things that dinged the stars down but I overall enjoyed myself. I loved watching her fall apart and bring herself back up to be even better. Poor thing is Trouble with a cap on that and everyone knows it. I think using that rep to tear down her confidence was an interesting play. Her family was present but they seemed more like supporting roles save for a few that really helped. Obviously by this point, there are huge clues that tell me there are other spin-off series for other characters, new and old. I’ll maybe look into those later.

Let me get this out of the way.

Long-winded passages. Makes it boring and I’ve put it down a few times instead of staying up because of that.

Inconsistent. She had the sex talk or she didn’t. She got him a car or she didn’t yet. It made me want to go back to the other books to look and see if I missed something and I hate doing that. Maybe I missed the car thing but I KNOW that girl had The Talk with her dad and now she’s saying she didn’t. And now I’m second-guessing. Moving on.

Overall? Entertaining. I think the tragedy that gets brought up every. Single. Time. Was sorta downplayed, or not focused enough, and that’s weird considering she does it all for that in the end. IYKYK.

Recommend and bye now so I can keep reading.
