This film had the makings of greatness. A good cast, excellent special effects. But it looks like too much ended up on the cutting room floor. There was no glue between the major scenes. The protagonist finds out he needs to find someone or something, and the very next scene he's there. Did he use an artifact, ask a CI, do a Google search... you never find out. I suspect that was all in the original shoot, but was cut for time, or maybe just to keep things moving. Anyway, it's not a *bad* movie; it's just not the great movie it could have been. I'll watch the sequel (announced March 2020) when it comes out. Hopefully they can get some better scripting and make the next one shine.

Special mention to Olafur Olafsson, who was really very good as the antagonist.
