I have pretty much all of Jamie Oliver's cookbooks and like most of them. This one, not so much. I am all for eating healthier and more plant based, but not to such an extreme way. This book removes all traces of little pleasures. Why? I too want better health and to avoid the major diseases, but to what extent??? Life after all should be worth living, not just living longer. Why do chefs seem to swing the pendulum either very far to the left or right. Let's strive for a middle ground.
