This last book in the series was mostly disappointing. There was some frantic, fast activity in the last 25%, one last “dramatic“ battle which felt over-written and then a short epilogue to tie up loose ends. A decidedly ignominious end to the series.

Just received notice that a book 5 is scheduled to be released in Dec 2021. Out of respect for the beginning of this series, I think I’ll take a chance on it.
