I'm a fan of sci-fi and fantasy, and although it's probably the least plausible of sci-fi themes, I love time travel stories. I'd only previously read anything by one of the authors in this anthology, so I thought I'd check it out.

I thought the stories by Altabef, Gideon Leigh, Jackson, Friedman, Schubert, Nickel, DesJardin, and Zambopoluou were all decent, or even good, in varying degrees. I didn't like the stories by Randall, Cook, Massey, or Salsitz at all. The Faith Hunter was written okay I suppose, but it (and the series it's associated with) just wasn't my cup of tea; it seems to be one of those fictional environments where every single type of magic imaginable is thrown together in an incoherent jumble.

Anyway, it was worth a quick read, if only to give me an idea of what authors I might want to check out or avoid.

Also, the book lists Gini Koch as one of the authors. It even includes a short bio for Gini Koch. However, there IS NO story by Gini Koch anywhere in the book - at least not in the Kindle Edition. Someone dropped the ball big-time.
