This book is amazing, not only the story and the people involved are very attractive but the fact that it is situated clearly in time and space, mentioning true historical events and well known history characters. The female character is well depicted and supportive of the male character who in return is so honorable and faithful to his duties that he fights to no avail his own feelings until of course, both surrender to their needs and love. The end is happy luckily, but full of surprises. What I loved most Is that the writer (my first book from her) gives the reader at the end a full description of the facts of the time it is written and which characters existed and which not, what is fiction and what is true. I appreciate very much this kind of information because it is a way of learning about the history of Scotland and because I am tired of those writers who write a book per month without any tips as to when the story takes place and not a single historical fact which makes me think they write a love story that could be placed in any country and any time, of course the past, but the past is very large. I have already bought another book from this author, as I liked her writing and thorough research of the history of Scotland and England as a consequence.
