Our employee opinion survey found that one of our biggest opportunities as a leadership team were making people feel valued. This was a life saver for all managers and leaders to have more awareness about the different languages of appreciation, but to also be more intentional within each language as the 'transactional' appreciation can make things worse than not expressing appreciation at all! We had about 30 people take the test and have shared the results amongst the team members as well so they can better express appreciation to each other. I would recommend this for any small business who sees opportunity in this space.
