My 15-month old LOVES this book. The story and pictures make going to the doctor familiar and reassuring. In fact, I even brought this book along with us to the hospital for my son's surgery.
The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because on the page where Corduroy gets weighed and measured, the doctor says, "Too many cookies, Corduroy." This is an extremely minor complaint, but I feel like the doctor's message is dated. I know that my son is only 1, but I want him to have a healthy body image and a healthy relationship with food. I took white-out & a sharpie and changed the text to, "So many cookies, Corduroy."
All in all, an excellent book. I've even bought additional copies as gifts. Highly recommend.
