A private compound on one of the Hawaiian Islands makes a fascinating setting for a mystery surrounding an attempted murder.
Similarly an extremely talented and famous chef can find work in many very special locations like this one. So I expect to get glimpses of quite a few places that I would otherwise never read about or see in future books in this series.
