Another great Tracy Crosswhite book by Robert Dugoni. I love this series. I love the characters and the cases. They all just flow so well. Never a dull moment. The cases keep me so engrossed that I cannot wait to find out what happens. And the characters all just mesh so well together.
A body is pulled from a crab pot but before Tracy and the team can catch the killer they need to find out who this woman is. And just as they determine that she is a woman who disappeared a couple months ago and are making headway in their investigation the case is pulled from them and given to the police in the town from where the woman went missing. And as we have come to know Tracy she is none too happy. And she and the team continue to work the case. I really loved the twists and turns in this one. Just when I thought I had it figured out, here comes a twist. I also like in this one, we get some chapters as told from the POV of the victim.
I still love Tracy. She is not one to give up on an investigation without a fight. She wants to make sure every victim is given justice and the killer put behind bars. And as tough as she is, she also has a soft vulnerable side which I love.
And I love the family unit that Tracy has with Kins, Faz and Del.
