I'd heard about this book from a human sexuality class and was looking forward to reading it. I knew the author was some sort of religious leader, but this book is preachy. This book shames cohabitating before marriage (which his claim that this leads to higher divorce is correlation, not causation so just misleading), shames premarital sex, and is essentially a call for the good old days of women having to be the perfect wife to the first man she marries. Honestly disappointed, I thought it would be more about how to grow through relationships and as a single, not as a How-To guide to getting married. Its 2020. Not everyone sees marriage as an end goal.
