I have a 7-year-old that is just starting to read chapter books. This set IMMEDIATELY captured her attention! The books are reasonably easy to read, incorporating words appropriate for her age and educational level, as well as rich in their imagery; tapping into her ability to imagine herself in the stories and making them come alive. She couldn't put them down from the first book- BEGGING me at bedtime, "Mommy, I don't want to stop reading!"
