I've been reading this Beach Plumb Cove series in order and this one is my favorite so far. It begins a little slow and quite differently than the previous books. It still has the familiar characters ans setting, but unfolds from the perspective of a new and quite different character. Although there is some repetition as the narrator weaves in the description of the established characters and a smattering of events covered in previous volumes, the author's conversation and introductions between characters to exposure the process. As I prefer to read a series in order, and back to back, I usually find the constant re cap tedious.
