I really enjoyed watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" starring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith along with many other talented actors and actresses. It is a movie that makes you feel the pain and struggle of the characters as they try to achieve purpose, meaning and above all happiness. However, in this movie there was a great deal of struggle and lows in the families lives in order to get ahead and it was far from easy for Chris Gardner (played by Will Smith) who took on a great deal of risk in trying to pursue a career as a Stockbroker through an internship that was not without its own set of challenges and no money to be had in trying to set himself above the rest also trying for the same spot. Also, he was trying to raise his son who was being assured a better life in the long run for sticking it out with his father who loved him dearly and was at rock bottom trying to climb up including trying to keep a roof over his son's head after being evicted from several places and broke too much of the time with problems arising at every turn. It is a well written and acted movie that won't disappoint since it had many great lessons to be learned from viewing it. Be ready to feel the pain and struggles of this family, and how it actually makes you feel choked up inside. But. rest assure Chris Gardner was able to rise above the traumatic times throughout the movie to fulfill his dreams of making something of himself and give his family more than they had which was so amazing.
