Unfortunately, the bag came flattened and wasn’t air tight at all, w many scratch marks or pen/knife markings (from opening a bulk box of them to distribute to online orders maybe). I didn’t have a good feeling about them; was leery about trying them. I couldn’t locate an exact opening or “tear” — but did see crunch marks/gashes and incisions maybe.

Quality control? Was it the delivery guy’s fault? I happened to order a few things in the evening and they offered free same day delivery btwn 10p-12a. I would never ever prefer a late delivery but I was willing to keep an eye out for it this time.

The delivery guy seemed confused and smelled of marijuana, heavily :(( He was confused how to get to my apt once I let him in. He buzzed me twice so I slipped on a pair of shoes and ran down to meet him. Complacent, he was accompanied by a young girl — why? I have no clue. I only had three small paper bags (a young boy of his size could’ve easily carried them w two hands) my order wasn’t heavy at all.

However, I thanked them/him twice bc he wasn’t leaving but telling me he didn’t know which floor to bring my order to. I said it’s ok that’s why I came down...but I’m so glad I came down bc he and this young girl was totally stoned and slow to respond. When I carried my bags to my place, the grocery bag w the chips were open — the label sticker was not sealed but torn ?! and the bag of chips laid on top perfect. I’m familiar w this brand and always reach for an airtight bag so I know what they should look like brand new. This bag was not “new” and filled w air, but smashed and flattened.

I’m sure these may taste delicious but it behooves me how a living human being would grab this bag and pack it for someone else -OR- how a deliver person may damage something like this and not offer to redeliver/replace it. When I receive groceries, the delivery bags are always sealed w my address labeled on it and it’s not torn open. So that was suspect.

Let’s grocery shop for others as if we’re shopping for mothers/ourselves. It may be a small thing but the integrity of it: placing orders for delivery is becoming a bit of a luxury these days and if I had the means to, I’d be so happy to shop for myself (as well as those in need). I usually place orders via Wholefood’s but this time I tried amazonfresh (and probably will never do this again). They ought to train their young people to get a client or customer’s entire order right the first time. Money does not grow on trees. We all need to think more and be more thoughtful if we’re going to commit to these service type roles.

I don’t usually write reviews related to the delivery person, on a product review however I believe in this case there’s a link as to why I received this product in the condition that I did. Nonetheless, I’m thankful they sent a refund but if I could have chosen, I would have rather had them REdeliver an airtight bag of buffalo wings, deli style pretzel chips, just like I ordered.
