This series has a unique spin on toddler edutainment; each episode focuses on a different technique for creating art, making it almost feel like being in an elementary school art class. The concepts are well within the grasp of the show's target audience, making exploration and experimentation feel downright accessible. While the plot of the episodes (and character names) are completely laughable, that ends up being trivial and secondary to the instructional value of the show. I'm always pleased when my toddlers ask if they might watch an episode of "Artie". This is, in my opinion, a safe series that will not foment "mind rot" or consumerism within your child.
