These have hydraulic bearings which are best the bearing type for computer fans (most fans for that matter), but are "only" rated for 30,000 hours of life. Usually hydro bearing fans last 50,000 to 300,000 hours or more. So that puts these on the low end of the quality spectrum for a hydro fan. But even at 30k hours these should easily last several years. I included a photo of the specs from the side of the box a received which differ from those posted by the manufacturer. Also, because these are hydraulic, the fan can be placed in any position and still expect the same lifetime from the bearings.

The plugs are all 3 wire which will report fan speed back to the MB, and can have the speed controlled by the MB. There are 2 extra power feeds off each plug for the LED lights and each fan includes a large 4 wire plug for plugging directly into a power supply. This is an essential item that every fan should include as an option as motherboards tend to have a limited number of fan headers. The 4 wire version is slightly better then the 3 wire but the difference is mostly a matter of preference. If you are looking to "save" energy that are a lot better places to invest then in a more expensive computer fan.

For noise, the fans are essentially silent, and they run very smoothly as a hydraulic bearing on a 120mm fan should. They are rated at 43CFM and they seem to be getting there(but that is only a guess). When sitting right next to another fan of the same size, but lower quality these clearly are putting out a LOT more air, maybe 3 times the airflow of the cheap model. I was impressed at the difference in air flow, with very little difference in price.

The fans also include the screws, and have a good quality vibration cushions to help stop any metal to plastic rattles and dampen vibrations coming out of the fans.

The LED colors are fixed, and that is about the only place that I have a complaint about these fans. Many motherboards have LED controllers on them, but very few manufacturers seem to support it. When lit, the fans have that nice spiral look to them that only edge lit fans get.

So these aren't high end fans, but the price/value and over quality definitively makes them a 5 star product and should provides years of use in my new computer build.
