I am writing this review because I dont see other reviews mentioning this, which actually shocks me. I only wanted this high chair to do three things:
1) Be easy to clean... If you look at my attached photos you see will a flap that "hides" the lever which you pull to fold the chair up. Unfortunately it hides nothing and this becomes an impossible to clean reservoir for food and liquids. This chair is literally the lowlight of my day, mutiple times a day, because it not only takes SO long to clean, but the corners in this nook are really difficult to get to.
2) Have a tray that prevents my son from dropping food off of it... I am not talking about throwing food, just simply dropping food. This tray is probably as good as most are, but he still can just extend his arm straight forward or to the side and drop food right on the floor. So when I'm not cleaning food out of the seat itself, I'm mopping the floor after half of my son's meals.
3) Firmly contain my son so he can't wiggle free, climb out, or fall. That is the only criterion this chair met. I feel safe leaving him in his seat and it is very sturdy yet easy to slide around or pull up the table.
.....
All-in-all this is a decent chair that gets the job done. It is extremely easy to remove the tray for cleaning, and extremely easy to fold for storage. However, the clean-up involved infuriates me, and I just wanted others to realize this may be an issue with your child as well.
