This could be a very interesting book, however the author makes it a very difficult book to read. There seems to be no plan or order to this book, he takes partial narratives or comments from soldiers or items from other books and tries to put them together, but his technique is terrible and makes the book difficult to read. The author jumps from one person or group of soldiers to another and does not bridge any of the actions in a way that is coherent, this also makes the book difficult to follow and read. The author does a poor job of explaining why some actions were taken by soldiers or what the results were for actions taken, the author leaves you hanging.
Should have had an editor that could help explain how poorly this book is written before it was published.
