While each of these stories can be read on their own, there are plot threads running through the entire series, so for the best experience I’d recommend reading the series in order.
One of my favorite parts about any shifter series is seeing what kind of spin the author puts on their world-building, and this series is no exception. I enjoyed the set-up that gave us the Stanton siblings as a mix of different kinds of shifters, and the world-building that gave us the Beat, this author’s version of fated mates (as to be expected with fated mates storylines, these are instalust rather than slow burn).
Each story has its twists and there were some nice suspense elements as well as some unexpected magic showing up in surprising places. I thought the author did a good job giving her characters and couples individual traits and distinct storylines while maintaining continuity within the series.
All in all, if you’re looking for hot, quick shifter reads with some intriguing twists, this is a great series. 4 stars

I love one of the authors of this series. When I heard she was writing a shifters series I groaned to myself, I did not need another genre of book to read. WELL I was wrong! I love this series. There is so much angst not only between the couples but more between the family itself. I highly recommend the reading in order and do not skip any. This a a great series whether or not you like shifters!
