Top critical review
Will be crossing this author off my list...

OMG, what to say about this one? It was a book chosen for reading by our book club. Unfortunately, I suggested it because I read a review in the AARP magazine's "books for grown ups" section. One of our members said she loved "A Man Caled One" and agreed it would be a great book for the group. We haven't held our meeting since we read the book, but I will be interested to hear everyone's opinion. Mine is, I hated this book. The author states it's a book about idiots. Huge understatement. It's also a book about idiots for the idiots who pay $14 on their Kindle to read it. Long, rambling story I found myself skimming over, especially during the police interviews. Didn't see the humor. You don't get into the character development until about 3/4 through the book. The ending ties up the story, but you have to suffer through inane conversations with a near-naked man wearing a rabbit head, a moody pregnant woman, an elderly woman who really loves her wine, a young bohemian, and a long-married couple who have spent their lives flipping condos. Others who have reviewed this book claimed they really like the author's other books. Well, if they are anything like this one, I won't be reading them.
