Disappointed - felt like a brochure
Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2020
Many of the stories were inspiring. Many were a bit too wrapped in their own experiences - (if you declare bankruptcy, every thing you own isn't "taken away". You lost it due to bad decisions and bad luck and you caused other people to suffer but you didn't acknoweldge them).
Alot of the authors were telling their stories to promote their services - different therapies, etc. "Re-alignment Coach"
This felt like a some stories showed strong women on journeys of self discovery to find inner happines: like "I wasn't as happy as I wanted to be so I found a way to be happier".
And then many stories felt like a brochure for many of their services.
An odd celebration of "best seller" status for a book distributed mostly for free. Well intentioned but missed the mark.
