I love Meghan Quinn, so there was no way in heck that this wouldnโt be on my list for my Christmas reads. This book is a very quick read. It wasnโt bad, but it was a little too predictable and there wasnโt a whole lot of excitement, so itโs not something I would read again. I did enjoy it, nonetheless. Iโve never read a pen pal trope, and I have to say it is fun and I will be reading more! I liked the fact that they were both cynical and grumpy. Typically, itโs grumpy/sunshine, so this moody duo was a nice way to change things up a bit. โฃ
If youโre looking to squeeze in a quick Christmas story or are trying to hit your reading goal before the end of the year, look no further because this is a good one. If youโre looking for a steamy quick read, this is not the book for you because there is zero, zilch, nada. Still a cute book though!โฃ
