I love Meghan Quinn, so there was no way in heck that this wouldn’t be on my list for my Christmas reads. This book is a very quick read. It wasn’t bad, but it was a little too predictable and there wasn’t a whole lot of excitement, so it’s not something I would read again. I did enjoy it, nonetheless. I’ve never read a pen pal trope, and I have to say it is fun and I will be reading more! I liked the fact that they were both cynical and grumpy. Typically, it’s grumpy/sunshine, so this moody duo was a nice way to change things up a bit.
If you’re looking to squeeze in a quick Christmas story or are trying to hit your reading goal before the end of the year, look no further because this is a good one. If you’re looking for a steamy quick read, this is not the book for you because there is zero, zilch, nada. Still a cute book though!
