Growing up in Emerald Lakes, population six hundred and eighty-two, had been safe and comfortable. Running my own magic shop and making a living off my green witchcraft, I have no complaints. ...But something has apparently been missing, and the stars take it upon themselves to correct the problem, dropping four sexy men at my door. Well, not literally. They move into the apartment above my shop, so I’m their landlord. Drawn in by these mages who blew into town on a work assignment, a whole different kind of magic starts to grow between us, but my powers are doing things they shouldn’t, and there’s also a pesky prophecy to unravel.

Strange, unnatural things are brewing in Emerald Lakes, and I can’t ignore the sinking suspicion that something life-changing is headed my way.

Discovering a whole new world of magic, I can only hope I don’t lose myself in the madness.

I read a looooot. And most of that is Reverse Harem, so I have a pretty big pool of knowledge to compare Magic of Discovery to, and I have to say it is easily one of my favourite RH novels Ive read. Saige is such a great mix of sass, strength, sexy and just a tinge of innocence. I love that she is not a tiny petite little blonde, no offense to other authors but as a 5'8" 170lb auburn haired woman it is refreshing to see someone more like me. And the guys...oh dear gods this book needs a towel warning! The sex is just..gahhhhh. Kink, MM, Group Scenes...it has it alllll! Even a tiny smidge of DDlg which is usually a no go with me but it was so well done and not overly drawn out that I even enjoyed that part too! The storyline was well paced, I didnt find myself skipping sex scenes for story or vice versa, it all blended beautifully. Congrats Britt you wrote a winner! Now...when can I get my paws on book 2???

After some friends constantly raving about this book I decided it was time to read. It was definitely different than most books I’ve been reading. It has a little bit of everything and then some.

Saige is nothing like most fmc I’ve read. She is curvy which is rare in books it seems and she can be awkward especially when she gets flustered. I enjoyed her inner dialogue as well as her conversations with her gran.

The guys, Sloane, Kai, Cam, and Fisher show up in town and are immediately drawn to Saige. All the guys are different personality wise but have known each other for a while and make up one of the best teams in their field. I went back and forth on who I enjoyed more. In the end each won me over all for different reasons. This book is a fast burn so there is some serious steam. I recommend reading indoors while alone. You get all kinds of action in this book.

I’m glad the next two books are already out so I don’t have to wait after that ending! Looking forward to more Bram and how he comes into the dynamic. Also, I really want a pet fox now.

I decided to read this book after so many recommendations and it did not disappoint. I am always in search for a fast burn RH series and right off the bat Britt gives us a super HOT MM scene. If MM is a non-starter for you than this may not be your cup of tea.
Saige our FMC is delightful. She is feisty, funny and smart with a huge heart and is says exactly what is on her mind. No wading through does he like me or not for pages. The writing was fast paced and so well done.
Saige's men are distinct and bring something different to her life as she provides something different to each of them.
This is a series and there is a cliffhanger but it will be so worth the wait.

I have such a hard time getting hooked on a book. I can get super excited about a book coming out, even wait for months, and then when it comes out my attention is wandering at 20 percent in. It takes a really good book to really grab me, and before this book, there were only four RH series that succeeded, despite the fact that I have started or read dozens. Perhaps this series will be number five on that special list? I hope so!

The writing is the first thing that sucked me in. The flow and pace are excellent, the story had just the right amount of detail without becoming wordy and long-winded or spastic and vague.

The second thing that grabbed me was the characters. I love them! They all captured my imagination and I feel like they are all real people that I want to know in real life. I am half in love with Cam, Fischer, and Kai, especially Kai, and heck, I am even half in love with Gran! I need her in my life! I am still struggling with Sloane, but he might grow on me. I also really like Saige. She is that right mix of soft and bold. She doesn’t come off as an itch with a capital B, a teenager witch a chip on her shoulder, or too stupid to live…she’s overall very likable, and I wish more authors could write balanced heroines.

The third is the building mysteries in the story. The demons, her power, her heritage, what her mother is up to, how the guys in particular are going to handle new developments…gah! So far there is tension without it being dark or overwhelming, which I like.

Now if only I could stay up and read all night instead of sleeping and working tomorrow. Sigh.

I don’t get it. This book had really great reviews. This book needs an editor. Misspelled words, present and past tenses in the same sentences/paragraphs and no cohesive story. Basically, it felt as if the author had been writing down funny things someone could say and threw them in a book and tried to write a story around the sayings. There was no character development. The dialogue made no sense most of the time. Very stilted characters. Would not recommend.

Holy mother of sexy books, this series is HOT!!!!! I devoured the three books out now like a parched woman looking for water in a desert. I was spellbound from beginning to end, I couldn't put it down. The characters are well developed and so lovable *sigh* Kai *purrrrrrr*

The author builds up the tension expertly. You sit on pins and needles waiting for the truth to explode like a volcano. The book ends with a crazy cliffhanger, but luckily I could speed on to book two.

This is a fantastic debut book. I'm wildly impressed.

First off, congrats to the author - what an amazing debut novel! I loved reading this - a funny, quirky, sassy witch meeting and falling for 4 mages (omg the boys are all fab) who are all undercover and trying to find her mum (unbeknownst to any of them) whilst pretending to be trying to negotiate on commercial real estate, but when the men arrive things just start getting hinkier and hinkier around Saige, the guys and the town - magic going haywire, demons showing up, all sorts and so begins a hunt for the problems and her mum - whilst her guys actions are being monitored very very closely by their company. Tie in Saige's sexmad Grandma and all the hilarity that brings, and it really is a wonderful read. I am so looking forward to book 2! Already preordered!

I really enjoyed this book. At the beginning it felt just a little stilted in places but that soon passed, I don’t know if that was me getting into the book more and not noticing or the author getting into her flow more, but either way, it soon stopped being a thing.
The characters are great. Kai reminded me a bit of Seth and Leon from Zodiac Academy, but not in a copycat way, more perhaps an inspired by way. But the stories are very different and I loved this, I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. There’s also a lot more ‘nookie’ in this and the characters are all late twenties/early thirties which, as a middle aged woman, I definitely appreciate. It’s surprisingly difficult to find good, paranormal romance (or any dark romance) that doesn’t involve teens!

I have just finished this book and I honestly don’t even know where to begin. If I could give it more than 5* I definitely would. I was hooked when I saw the cover and blurb for it but once I started reading I knew that I would be in it for the long haul. With both this series and most definitely the author. This is her DEBUT novel guys and I’m just sat here wondering what I’m now supposed to do with myself. It surpassed my expectations and I cannot wait for more.

Chapter 8 = holy hotness 🔥🔥

I loved the development of the relationships between Saige and the guys. Sloane is absolutely going to break my heart, I just know it. But it’s hard to have a favourite between them, they are all so different but go so well together. They were a unit before meeting Saige and she just brings even more out of them.

Gran, oh Gran. Can I be her when I grow up?

Randy Roger and that fight scene. You’ll know.

This book took me through so many emotions, but one of the biggest things was laughter. Snort laughter. I’m not joking, so many funny sentences going on in it.

It’s a serious treat and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.
