Meanwhile, in a townhouse in Brooklyn, Callie Griffin is throwing a birthday party for her one-year-old son, Oliver. The joy of the day is ruined by her sister Lauren’s too short, drive-by appearance. Once close, the two sisters haven’t been able to move past a falling out which took place three years before.
When Brenna notices the strange man getting closer, she panics and takes refuge in the Griffin home, befriending their four-year-old daughter, Summer, who is waiting out the party upstairs.
As family and friends search for Brenna, her absence helps her father realize the importance of family, even as her presence in the Griffin home unwittingly sets in motion healing for a mother’s heart.

When billionaire Felix Worthington invites the five cast members of the TV show A Little Slice of Haven to recreate their roles twenty-five years later, they’re initially skeptical. It’s an unusual request, even for a self-professed superfan like Felix.
For several of them, playing a member of the Barlow family in the small town of Haven in the 1940s was an experience best forgotten. Meri Wetzel, who played a loving wife and mother, has spent the last two decades avoiding her TV husband, Jeff. And the actors who played their children each have lingering resentments of their own.
But living in a recreated version of the town in a warehouse in Montana, has its appeal, even knowing they’ll be filmed with hidden cameras as they improvise with other actors playing the townspeople. And the clincher? Two million dollars for each of them, provided they stay all ten days and remain in character the entire time. One by one, they set aside their hesitations and agree to the terms.
After all, with two million dollars they’d be set for life, and really what could go wrong?

“An engaging and charming story.” – Amazon review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When Celia Lovejoy's grandmother moves in with her family, she tells her granddaughter magical stories of fairies living in the woods behind the Lovejoy home. Ten-year-old Celia believes they are just that- stories-until the day she receives an unexpected visit from Mira, a real, live fairy. Mira needs a favor in a matter of the utmost importance. It seems that Celia's house and the adjoining woods are in danger of being demolished to make way for a new highway.
The person behind this horrible plan? Vicky McClutchy, a spiteful woman who holds a childhood grudge against Celia's dad. Fairy magic can counteract this evil, but it will only work with Celia's help. Aided by neighborhood friend Paul, Celia begins a danger-filled quest that takes her out in the woods at night to face her greatest fears. This magical tale of a plucky girl combines an entertaining story with an underlying message about the power of ordinary kindness.
"Makes you think that magic really exists!" – Goodreads review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When nine-year-old Paul explores the hole dug for his backyard swimming pool, he unearths a box containing a magic ring which grants wishes. He soon learns the hard way that wishes don't always turn out as expected!
“I simply fell in love with the story Celia and the Fairies, and Secrets of the Magic Ring is a delightful sequel, although it is also a wonderful stand-alone story. I continued to be surprised and thrilled as Paul’s story unfolded, especially when it took turns that I didn’t anticipate. Just when I was sure that it could not possibly end well, the cleverness of a nine-year old saved the day! This is an adventure that is sure to appeal to both boys and girls, and I can’t wait to read it to my students.”
-- Stacy Romanjuk, Fourth Grade Teacher at Hart Ransom School in Modesto, California
I bought this for my son after reading the reviews and he loved it. My son usually doesn't like books without tons of pictures that are about a car or vehicle of some sort. He was drawn into this story by the fast paced plot which has plenty of twists and turns and it has inspired him to want to listen to other chapter books. Yay!! Thank-you for helping my son to enjoy books! – C. Dowd Amazon reviewer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
