About Heather Christle
Heather Christle grew up in New Hampshire, studied in Massachusetts, lived for a while in Ohio, and now teaches creative writing at Emory University in Atlanta. Her first four books are all poetry collections: The Difficult Farm, The Trees The Trees, (which won the Believer Poetry Award), What Is Amazing, and Heliopause. Her poems have also appeared in The New Yorker, London Review of Books, Poetry, and many other journals. In 2019 she published her first work of nonfiction, The Crying Book, which has gone on to be translated into many different languages, and adapted for radio as the BBC "Book of the Week."
