Blog postI’m happy to announce the release of my newest series. My editor calls it some of the best writing I’ve ever done. Admittedly, she’s a little biased. But if you enjoy stuff like Altered Carbon, Blade Runner, Snow Crash, the Matrix, or other mind-bending, speculative sci-fi, you’ll really enjoy this one. Cheers!

Blog postThis is the first non-Forgotten Universe series I’ve written in two years. I’m really excited about it, because it’s both similar and very different from any of my other work. I think more than anything, it mashes up a lot of elements of my prior books into a new form. I hope you like it!

Blog postThe enemy is everywhere.
Our existence hangs by a thread.
On Earth we’re dying - the ships have landed.
On Proxima we’re ignorant - the sabotage nearly complete.
Our strongholds are routed.
Our defenses crippled.
Our wills are broken.
Our hope is gone...
… or is it?
Three heroes.
Two battlefronts.
One desperate chance for victory.

That’s not a surprise. The planet was chosen for a reason.

Blog postThe enemy is coming.
The enemy is already here.
For years they’ve prepared.
Plotted. Planned.
For years they’ve waited to strike.
From above…
… and below.
Earth is under siege.
The enemy covers the landscape.
Proxima is unharmed.
But that’s about to change.
No armies can stop this menace.
No defenses can slow the advance.

Blog postI screwed up.
I use a software tool called Vellum to build my manuscripts into finished books (both e-book and print). It’s an awesome tool, and it does a great job.
But it isn’t immune from human error, and neither am I.
When I published Invasion, I accidentally ended up with a duplicate of one of the chapters, instead of two individual chapters. So, a chapter is missing. It’s short and not critical to the story, but it is a little jarring to go from one scene to the ne2 years ago Read more -
Blog postTwo hundred years ago, aliens invaded Earth.
A violent war followed. The enemy won.
Some of us escaped...
...most of us didn’t.
On Proxima they flourished - the invasion forgotten.
On Earth we floundered - the horror began.
Their world is advanced, peaceful, and secure.
Our world is broken, savage, and overrun.

He’ll have to if he’s going to survive long enough to see justice done. The monsters infecting the forgotten Earth don’t sleep, and neither can he. There’s no time to rest. There’s no time to recover. The clock is ticking, the stakes are rising, and if he fails it’ll be

Their weapons were unstoppable, their defenses unbreakable.
Our technology was inferior, our militaries overwhelmed.
Only one starship escaped before civilization fell.
Earth was lost.
It was never forgotten.
Fifty-two years have passed.
A message from home has been received.
The time to fight for what is ours has come.
Welcome to the rebellion.
They are coming. Find the Goliath or be destroyed.
The chilling words are the first thing Mitchell hears after an assassin’s bullet nearly ends his life. He tries to ignore them, convinced the voice in his head is a side-effect of his injuries.
It isn’t.
The warning is only the beginning. A glimpse into a struggle against an enemy older than time.
An enemy that’s very real and much closer than he ever imagined.
An enemy that will do whatever it takes to keep him from finding the centuries-lost starship and ending not only the fight but their very existence.
Narrowly escaping capture, Mitchell falls into the hands of the Riggers — a ragtag crew of black-ops commandos who patrol the outer reaches of the galaxy. Guided by a captain with a reputation for murder, they’re dangerous, immoral, and possibly insane.
They may also be humanity’s last hope for survival in a war that has raged beyond eternity.
A wizard without family...
A warrior without memory...
A world without hope...

One thousand years ago, the world was broken and reborn beneath the boot of a nameless, ageless tyrant. He erased all history of the time before, enslaving the people and hunting those with the power to unseat him.
The power of magic.
Eryn is such a girl. Born with the Curse, she fights to control and conceal it to protect those she loves. But when the truth is revealed, and his soldiers come, she is forced away from her home and into the company of Silas, a deadly fugitive tormented by a fractured past.
Silas knows only that he is a murderer who once hunted the Cursed, and that he and his brothers butchered armies and innocents alike to keep the deep, dark secrets of the time before from ever coming to light.
Secrets which could save the world.
Or destroy it completely.
