This kit is awesome! I had a deep scratch on my brand new truck. The body shops wanted to remove both driver side doors and repaint them for $2100.00. So I took a chance and ordered this kit. I was able to hide the scratch pretty well (especially for someone who doesn't know what they're doing). I knew it wouldn't be perfect but I was willing to take the time to make it as perfect as I can get it.

Machine is great, perfect for DIY. Plenty of power, ergonomic and easy to use.

As for the HexLogic pads and Chemical guys polish, I can not endorse these products. Using a yellow pad with V32/34 I simply could not get good results on my black truck. Very frustrating. The yellow pad ended up falling apart.

Switched to Meg's D300/302 compound and polish, paired with Meg's cutting/finishing microfiber pads and got MUCH better results. Do yourself a favor and just buy the tool, and invest in the Meg's system for the liquid and pads.

This may not last. Probably will return. Congratulations on the advertising since it did a good job attracting attention.
It arrived, the box was tattered and broken and it clearly was in poor quality recycled packaging topped off with no outer box.
Not a good sign of things to come.
Opened the box and was greeted by a nasty industrial smell, which made me think of the conditions of the workers where this thing was made. I couldn’t imagine breathing that in all day.
Then the on/off switch feels like it will break at any point. It’s the perfect combination of stiff and loose which does wonders for inspiration of quality (Not). Then comes the “little baggie” packed with it. Alas, It’s a set of brushes with leads. Wow, in 2018 we have brushless motors. I don’t think this will last and I am going to look for something built to inspire

These Hose Guide Rollers really work to keep the water hose from getting jammed under the tires of my car as I wash it. They let me move the hose all the way around the car, rather than having to keep dragging the hose all the way back and around to wash the other side.
Just push them under the tires, and as you move, (one at the front of the front tires; one at the back of rear tires.) Result, as you move around the car, the hose will engage the rollers, instead of its getting jammed. Nice.
The plastic Guide Rollers feel sort of flimsy, so I don't know how long they will continue to work. But, so far, they work just fine. Of course, you have to remember to remove them before moving the car.

They do not work as advertised. I even watched some You Tube that showed them working. A sticking hose to a tire is such a pain and this concept is great. Here is what I experienced using this with my Raptor (Bigger Tires). They actually slide in to the corner of each tire very well and are snug. My hose bib is on the far left side of the truck. As the hose comes toward my vehicle the side closest to the hose bib works. The weight of the hose pushes against the device and keeps it snug to the tire. The exact opposite thing happens when it goes on the ground across the truck, when it contacts with the device there is nothing to hold it into place and it just moves out & away from under the tire and flings

If you are looking for the an item to add to your arsenal when washing your car, then this is definitely something worth buying. I have had it for over 6 months and most of my washes I use it.
It does not take more than two minutes to install but you do need to know how to slip it under the tyre to seat firmly for the product to do its job.

Initially, when I began using it, I did notice the hose still displaces the guard when I pull the hose around the car. I had to learn to wiggle it into place which does take some getting used to. Also, if your ground is anything like mine with a few cracks here and there and sloping, you would quickly realise that the guard does require more work to install before the wash.

If your pressure washer hose is not super

I've been a auto detailer for over 15 years and to find a detail brush thats not to aggressive and not to soft and not too expensive has been a challenge to say the least ..I finally found that detail brush(s) and that won't break the bank either!!.they're densely packed too and not like other brushes that have 10 little hairs and call it a detail brush.i have sets for the paint , wheels, and interior ..they are honestly amazing ..please don't change your quality (or price) as I've found my detail brush

I really do like these brushes. They get in to all the areas that I need them to. They are thick and hold a good amount of cleaning solution, which gives you longer work time and they foam product well to elevate the dirt particles. They are a stiffer material, which makes them perfect to agitate the brake calipers and lug nuts to get the stubborn dirt and grime out. I use the large one for that. The medium one is perfect for agitating leather seats and getting good cleaning action on the surface and scrubbing dirt off the seams gently.

Here's why I gave it 4 stars.
Performance:
For softer paints and dark cars, the materials seem a little too stiff to use on the paint surface itself. I tested it around emblems and creases around the car. The brushes soaked in the soap bucket for about 30min before using them and

I am a Profesional Auto Detailer and use these on door panels, cracks in-between seats, vents, emblems, grilles, and wheel faces. They are stiff enough to scratch softer paint (My BMW E46), albeit still relativity soft.. Not an issue on vehicles with harder paint (some newer Mercedes I have not seen this problem. I have detailed emblems with them and always see swirls when I am done, especially on black paint. These are excellent for dusting vents and small cracks in the center console, and brushing wheel faces, but on softer wheel faces they can leave scratches. I opt for a microfiber cleaning (Wheel Woolies) method instead.

However, They are cheaply made, and break easily.
I have broken two brushes under normal use, and the wood swells and cracks, leaving a very unpleasant feel in the hand. These brushes would be 10x better if they were dipped in polyurethane to make the

Everything great thing you may have heard about the Ultra-Soft detailing brushes from Detail Factory are true. Seriously, these are by far the softest brushes I have ever used. The only funny thing is the handle of the larger brush doesn't feel as ergonomic as the smaller brush, I think, because it's heavier. I would recommend purchasing two smaller brushes rather than the set that I bought. I don't feel inspired to use the larger/heavier/longer brush. The smaller one, though, that's a winner. It's the right size, thickness, weight. The smaller brush will quickly become your favorite. Honestly, you will keep these forever.

These brushes are exactly what I was looking for. They are extremely soft and durable. The weight is well-balanced and build quality is strong. If you need a brush with less give and more abrasive power, these are not for you. These feel almost like the same brushes my wife uses to apply makeup. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for high quality and extremely plush auto detailing brushes.

My wife hates that I bought two sets of these brushes but she doesn't understand the quality and what they are used for. I highly recommend these. The quality is perfect, the softness, durability, and the use for deep cleaning are great. The only thing is that they are kinda pricey. Other than that I'm still glad I bought these, I want to detail my car so badly. Just waiting for all the supplies. Thank you.

I could not believe just how much dust this little gadget was holding until I banged it out outside, I decided I was tired of paying for Swiffer duster refills which, by the way, are very small, don't hold the dust as they claim to and expensive to keeping replacing. I love this, wish I bought it sooner. I have been using it in the house, next.....onto the car dash where I am sure it will be just as effective!!!!!! not only is it very effective, it saves the environment from refill trash and saves my pocketbook from refill expense...well worth the money, may be buying more for gifts (I am obviously one of those PRACTICAL gift givers LOL )...

I have a new car with a black interior (which I will never get again) and it always had little dust particles all over the dash and instruments. It was driving me crazy! I took it to be cleaned inside and out several times and within a few hours those little particles trotted right back out. I am definitely not a fan of armour all on the interior of my car. I saw this ultimate dash duster on amazon and thought I should give it a try. You know how you feel when you discovered something great? Well that's what I did. This duster is amazing at taking off those dust particles and keeping them off much longer than anything else I have seen. I have come to understand that if you have a black interior those little buggers are going to be

This duster is conveniently sized and well made with a solid handle and plenty of surface area to pick up dust. The microfiber bristles work quite well picking up dust and small crumbs on the seats, center console, steering column, and front panel of the dashboard. However, when I tried using it on the top of the dashboard where most of the dust collects, so much static built up between the fibers and the dashboard that the duster left more little fibers on the dash than it picked up dust. The black dash looked considerably worse than when I first started and the fibers clinged so tightly to the dashboard that I had to use a wipe to get them off. I should add that I have a fairly new car so I don't know if this problem will get better with time but for now

Watched YouTube videos of professionals raving about clay. Studied the stuff and read tons of reviews. I'm an old fashioned car person who likes soap 'n water and 3 step wax. All day type of care. Thought there was no way some clay and a spray bottle of water could do what most rubbing compounds, cleaner wax or heavy duty road grime cleaners could with no fumes, no buffing, no environmentally harmful chemicals etc. I was wrong. While this didn't do much for some heavier spots of clear coat oxidation on our 14 year old Marquis hood, it did remove heaps of grime, overspray, crusted sap, road grease and surface scratches (paint from another object coming in contact with vehicle surface, NOT scratches through the paint). This was AFTER I'd already thoroughly washed the car! I was astounded at the shine that was brought out. The car used to have

I don't know what this is supposed to do... against all the other brands I used like Chemical Guys...this kit didn't pick up anything so you end up just rubbing with lube for a long time with no noticeable results. Light or medium fallout... didn't really help at all. Mind you, I have been detailing for over ten years and am very familiar with clay techniques.

I used this product today and was blown away at how much dirt, or whatever it was that was pulled off the hood of my 2004 Dodge Ram truck. I washed the hell out of it first with a popular brand name car soap and rinsed it with water and thought it was clean. It looked clean, but felt very gritty and rough to the touch. After using "Clay Magic", along with a good lube made for it, and then rinsing the hood off with water, the hood felt so smooth like a brand new vehicle. All the gritty roughness was gone. I was astonished at the difference it made. I'm talking a night and day difference here. Just remember it's very important to use a lot of lube. Always use way more than enough lube, otherwise the clay seems to grab and smear some, which is true with any

I've used over 7 other different types of clay. Nothing comes close to Clay Magic.
The quality is just there.
From the bag it comes in, to the lifespan of the clay, it's hardness and ease of "mouldability". This clay just WORKS.
I will never buy another clay bar again. I tried others to see if they would be cheaper and better than Clay Magic, but they are not. This car bar is the best I have used as a professional auto detailer. it just WORKS!!! Doesn't fall apart or disentegrate like others do.. Doesn't stick to panels.. This is the real deal. But it, you won't regret this more expensive clay bar!!

I have a 2000 Camaro and a 1988 Thunderbird. I bought the Blue fine grade thinking Camaro, and the Red Medium for the Thunderbird. I ended up taking the conservative path and split the Blue fine grade in half, using half on the Camaro, the other half on the Thunderbird, along with a gallon of the Clay Luber. Incredibly easy to use on both cars. The much more weathered paint on the Thunderbird was incredibly smooth after using the fine grade. The white paint on the Camaro actually brightened, as stains were lifted, though it did not smooth out as much as the Thunderbird. I couldn't be more happy with my first use of a clay bar! One bar, two cars and a half gallon of lube. Will be ordering another Blue fine grade bar!

Cannot beat these for the price. They are more soft and sticky than other clays I've used - so make sure to use PLENTY of clay lube or these will leave clay streaks on the paint. Seems a lot of the bad reviews are from people who were not familiar with using a claybar. I use Optimum No Rinse soap as lube and it works amazingly using a dilution of 2 oz to 32 oz water, but whatever you use as a lube USE A LOT to prevent issues. Having the vehicle in the shade helps a lot also as hot metal isn't as easy to claybar.

I used it to clean the door frame before applying protective film. The trick is to have the right fluid (I used very diluted dishwasher liquid) that allows it to move smoothly across the surface. It is very sticky and will pick up everything along the way, even when wet. This is my first experience with a product of this type. Wish I had known about it before. Perfect for cleaning off oxidation.

Just to say that this is the first time i've used a buffing tool so I totally did not know what to expect and if I was going to do it right but this thing is totally forgiving and gave me results beyond my expectations...
I had recently bought an abused VW and though the car itself was fine, the paint job was in dire need of attention... it had hard rubs and scratches around ... paint and overspray on certain panels... and I don't believe it'd ever had a wash in the last three years!
So having read up on car detailing... i decided the route of clay bar, compound, polish, wax... in that order. Everything that i used was Meguiars, mainly based on the reviews that their products had.
I decided to use get THIS particular DA buffer because I felt that I didn't want to spend too much as this

This allows you to get the dual axis spinning action you see on high end polishers for a fraction of the price.

Most home users just doing their own car don't need a $100+ professional polisher. This will allow you to get comparable results for a fraction of the price. The more expensive options will offer better ergonomics making them easy to use for hours at a time. If your only spending one or two hours a year there is no sense spending the money on a higher end polisher.

It installs onto your drill chuck just like any drill bit. Hold the handle steady and that's it. A fully featured DA polisher by using tools you already had. It feels solidly enough built and couldn't be a lot easier to use.

This system is great for a consumer grade polisher, especially if you don't want to buy a dedicated polisher. I bought this and used it on my Dewalt corded drill (don't recommend using a cordless drill as they don't spin fast enough) and found it very easy to control. The pads are removed easily and can be washed. They also attach easily and stayed in place for the entire time I was polishing and waxing the truck.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money but want a good polisher this will be perfect for you.

My first reaction to these little cleaners were how cute they are! Once I opened the container the smell was extremely pleasant. Fruity without being too strong, and doesn’t smell like a cleaning product. I used it on my car and it’s amazing how when you push the little slime ball into vents, it picks up all the dust that’s inside! Definitely something that a duster does not grab. I also typically keep a swifter in my car for the dashboard, but that mostly just scatters the dust around without really collecting it. These cleaners really pick the dust up. I was surprised that the texture felt more wet than sticky which was nice (I was expecting a slime ball from childhood). I’m curious to see how long I can use one container. I picked up the entire contents and started blotting before reading that you should break a

This product is so easy to use and worked wonders!! I used the yellow one and it had a light pleasant fragrance when I opened it. I rolled it on all three of my laptops to clean up the dust between the keys and it looks spotless now. It left no residue or lingering smell which is great. It also comes in four small portable containers, which can be sealed and reused. It's such a good deal because not only does it come with four packs, but each pack can be used multiple times. You can easily pick up dust that is hard to clean otherwise. It's very effective and I highly recommend this to others.

Keep in mind: these are not intended for initial cleaning. That's for the sponge, suds, hose, etc. After that's done, there's yet another step before the glosser comes in to play i.e. remove the excess water with whatever: chamois, microfiber cloths, etc. Then and only then do the glosser cloths do their thing i.e. provide the shine that a pampered car deserves. They remove, completely, any residual streaks that remain after the preceding steps. The end result is as good as any detailing shop could achieve.

In Japan--where I've never seen a dirty car--pre-wax car wipes are as common as easy to find as windshield wiper fluid is here. But in the United States I couldn't find them anywhere. Then one day I decided to try a different car wash place, and when I went into their shop to pay I found they had three packs of these. I grabbed two thinking I should leave the last for some other lucky customer and then immediately found and ordered four more packs from Amazon to stock up.

These are actually better than the ones I used in Japan because they're bigger, softer, and it only takes one sheet to polish my entire SUV/Wagon. Each one is truly loaded with wax and cleans the car without scratching the finish, even in New York City where my car looks dirty after only a couple of days

I was at a funeral recently and it was at the height of pollen season where I live. Everyones' cars were covered with a thick layer of pollen. One of the attendees pulled a wooden handled duster out of her trunk and quickly whisked all of the pollen off of her car (I helped, being the gentleman that I am).

When I got home, I decided to look into buying one of my own. She seemed to have one of those California dusters that is also sold here on Amazon. After doing some research (on the web) I ran across too many articles that said that the wax infused dusters were bad for a cars paint and suggested that micro-fiber dusters were superior so I bought this one.

I find that this duster does "push" the pollen around a bit, but it does for the most part remove

I'm far from a professional detailer, but I do know the basics of general car care. For the average price of one clay bar, Takavu is giving you two bars, which is great. What also sets them apart from other typical market leader brands, is that they give you a clear plastic container for your clay. Thats genius! I typically end up having to store mine in a ziplock bag.

The cleansing power of this clay is great. I tested it on a small spot of my friends hood. I'm not sure if you can hear, but in my video, as I began to slide the clay over the car, it sounded like like sand paper. But after a little bit, the clay cleans it all up and makes the hood decontaminated, and as smooth as glass. A small hint if you wish to conserve some of your clay, is to

Turtle Wax doesn't disappoint with its spray detailer, perfect for maintaining a nice shine on a black car. However, note that this is NOT a replacement for a wax. This detailer will do an excellent job getting off dust with the aid of a microfiber towels and getting that extra spark to otherwise duller areas. It will elimiate the appearance of small swirl marks, but it is not a replacement for a good clay & was job - the swirl marks will be masked for a few days, not 'filled in'.

As long as you are looking for a quick detailing spray to add that extra bit of shine to your black car, you will not be disappointed.

I used this product to apply a tire shine to my tires. The pad has a 'guard' between your grip point and the sponge, which I found keeps the tire shine liquid from getting on your hands or gloves. That is a neat feature that I found useful. The product seems well made, did not come apart, and the sponge worked as advertised. I bought several for my car care applications, so I expect that these will be useful tools for me going forward. At this point, I would recommend the product.

I really had high hopes for this product when adding it to my cart. I typically use an old tag to apply tire shine and end up getting the brownish oils under my finger nails which is really hard to get out. When I went and used this after receiving it yesterday, I quickly realized how it was just a waste of money. After shining just two tires I noticed the foam pad was already starting to tear. After shining all 4, the foam is ready to break apart and disintegrate. Definitely a major disappointment especially since Chemical Guys usually only sell quality products. Glad it was only 4 dollars, but at least now I know how bad these are.

Update:

This product works really well on street car and SUV tires, but just did not fare very well on my very aggressive offroad BFGoodrich KO2 tires on my Nissan Xterra.

After all these years I finally found a fully functional seat for car detailing. Thank-you Scott of Dallas Paint Correction. Excellent construction and perfect height. For assembly you will need a 17mm wrench (2 will be better-1 to tighten the nut, the other to hold bolt head). I guess pliars would work if wrenches are not available. This bad boy sports heavy-duty casters that roll me around without a hitch. I am a little concerned that the area around the bucket might begin to rust after long-term exposure to water/chemicals. A well-thought out accessory that is worth the price.

Just remove the microfiber sock, wash and dry to remove all loose lint and then reassemble and use. Seller should mention this, as it is unusable out of the box and will seed lint everywhere.

Normally, calling something a dust magnet would be a red flag, but in this case, it's high praise. My car consistently gets dust all over the dashboard and the area between the two front seats. I was constantly buying wipes to clean it up. I bought this duster in the hopes it would solve the issue without me spending more and more money.

It works wonders! A quick swipe of the duster gets all of the residual dust, and BOOM! it's clean. I could not be happier. What's also really cool is that the duster is flexible--it will easily bend to get into tough to reach areas.

I couldn't be happier. It's well-made and does exactly what it's designed to do.

I’ve used the classic red California duster for the past 20 years, and needed a replacement duster for cleaning the interiors of our car. Purchased this microfiber duster on a whim and low cost, and I’m pleased with the performance so far. The ‘fingers’ do a good job of picking up dust and minimizing spreading dust around. One swipe pretty much picks up everything. I just bought a new car, so this is a solid tool to keep my interior looking brand new.
It also comes with a case which is a nice touch, and prevents the duster itself from getting dusty. Can’t speak for durability, but if this lasts any appreciable length of time, it will be well worth the few bucks spent on it. Recommended!

I spent this past Sunday properly testing out my new Comet Static 1700 pressure washer on three different details and this product made each and every one of those details much easier. I was dragging 70 feet of pressure washer hose around for each detail and not once did I have to put down my pressure washer gun to dig a hose out from under a tire. I'll be picking up a second set of these just so I'm able to see one sticking out from all four tires.

I saw these on a Jay Leno's Garage special. I thought it was a very smart idea since I always run into this problem. I recently ceramic coated my car which took a lot of washing. This prevented the water hose and extension cords from getting caught behind the tires so well. My brother thought it was such a smart idea, he bought himself a pair.

I didn't even know these things existed until I saw them in a Youtube detailing video. Figured I'd give them a try, and they actually work. The hose snagging behind tires is super annoying, and these stop that from happening. They're great.

I’ve been needing something like this since my dash gets so dusty. Works great. I really like that it comes in a bag. Now I need to get one for my husband’s car. I’m very satisfied.

Does the job. Minus 1 star for long handle, it doesn't fit in the front car compartment on the passenger side. Maybe I've got the wrong product. Description says 10", but measurement shows almost 17".
