I am a member of a VERY elite and exclusive organization. Yes ladies and gentlemen. I am a Discover Card "Member".

While visiting the Nintendo Eshop, I decided I wanted to get a new game: Super Mario Odyssey.

Clickety, click and off I go to their shopping cart.

Suddenly my heart sinks. My pulse rises. I can't believe my eyes. Nintendo does not accept Discover Card!

Rather than just closing my browser then and there. Grabbing my Switch and tossing it in the trash. I realized this must be some sort of mistake? Clearly. I felt discriminated against, personally attacked even.

Breathe for a moment. Settle down. There must be some way around this. My very first thought was Amazon.

Well, a moment later and I'm looking at these gift cards. My only worry was how long it would take to receive the codes. How would I receive the codes. Etc.

I proceeded. Bought a $50 and

This is my son's preferred way to add money to his Nintendo Switch. We order it from Amazon and then he types in the code on his Switch immediately and he's good to go. Getting the code is a bit tricky if you don't know where to look on Amazon. You have to go to Your Orders but instead of the general orders you have to click on the tab that says Digital Orders. There you'll find two sets of numbers. It's the second number you want. We've bought this 'card' in several different increments and all have been great. If you want your child to buy able to purchase games but not have your credit card linked to his/her account, this is a good way to do it.

I'm a long time Metal Gear fan. I've played every single title, and I've loved every single one. Chances are, if you find yourself here, you are probably a Metal Gear fan, and don't need to be told anything about the superb story. Metal Gear Solid is one of the most interesting and engrossing collection of games spanning across many generations.

Disc Two of this collection is the HD Collection (MGS 2, MGS 3, and Peace Walker), plus the two Digital Graphic Novels in movie form. This marks the first time that the Digital Graphic Novels are released in the States. Once you input the disc into your PS3, you will find the Digital Graphic Novels under the videos section of the XMB. This, for me, is worth the price of admission alone. I own a physical copy of the graphic novels, but it's so much better to see them in

Before purchasing this collection, i never played a Metal Gear game before. I knew they were popular games and i knew about solid snake, that's about it. So i started playing them in chronological order from the stories stand point. This means i play Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, First. This game turned out to be my favorite Metal Gear game, and one of my favorite games of all time. This game remade in HD alone is worth the $25, then adding Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 on top is just icing on the cake. Now to move on why you may enjoy the game as much as me:
- The Story is, should i say epic? like Homers book odyssey type of epic. Around every turn there's a shyamalan twist. The story involves very mature themes such as Nuclear War, R*pe, Cancer, Cloning are just some examples. (

This game is basically the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (disc 2 even loads as Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on your PlayStation and includes the Japanese Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 under the Snake Eater game) plus some extras. You get a separate disc for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots as well as a download code for Metal Gear Solid 1 (just requires an internet connection).
Be careful about buying this game used though! It's more than likely that someone has already used the download code for MGS1 on another system, and if you still want the game it will cost you $10.99 on the PlayStation Store.

For the price, it's a great bargain granting you a total of seven games for your PlayStation 3, and three of them (MGS2, 3 and Peacewalker) are remastered in high definition. The only trouble is the discs are

These are my favourite types of games. The Sly Cooper series is probably top of my list, but Jak & Daxter are a close second. I don’t have a PS4 because they don’t really make this type of game anymore. It’s really a shame, because I enjoy playing games as a little bit of a fun escape and silly stress release. All the hyper-realistic PS4 titles are not what I enjoy. This collection is good value as there are three unique Jak & Daxter titles included. I also have Ratchet & Clank but haven’t tried it yet. Any recommendations for similar type PS3 games (that can still be found/purchased) would be most welcome!

I've always loved the art-style and humor from the first game since I first played it on PS2 and in that respect the sequels are certainly more of the same. I never played Jak II or Jak 3 back when they released.

Anyway, replaying Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy was a nostalgic trip down memory lane. I personally thought Daxter was at his funniest here because he didn't seem as obnoxious compared to the sequels, and so when he did speak his humor stood out more. The environments are lush and varied; beaches, lava pits, dark spider-infested caves, snowy mountain-tops, an underwater "lost city", and so on. It isn't really too story-heavy but what story there is, is semi-entertaining and interesting enough to follow. The first game is mostly a straight-forward 3D platformer collect-a-thon with your occasional boss fights, vehicle segments and cutscenes. But it's a vibrant, colorful and quite

I played these games religiously in my teens, and this trilogy is certainly a PS2 icon. It’s nice to be able to play this series on my PS3, and I gotta say they look very good in HD. I’ve beaten each game twice now on the PS3, and I’ve noticed a few differences between this and the original PS2 releases. While most are trivial and not worth mentioning, I’ll highlight a couple of the more important things. Note that any glitches I mention are repeat offenders. If a fluke glitch occurs, but I’m unable to replicate it, it’s not mentioned below.

Jak and Daxter:
- The most notable change in this game is that they fixed the dreaded gambler glitch. In the original game, there’s a simple mistake the player can make to make the gambler’s race time literally impossible to beat. I tried and

For anyone wondering who sigma is from watching the new trailer for MvC Infinite this is a great way to find out how his story began through the X series. This way people can learn the story of X, Zero and Sigma a little better.
There are 6 games in total Plus a 7th one that can be unlocked by completing all 6 X games. They take place a Century after the original Megaman Series as X is awakened by Dr Cain only to realize X is the only robot that was designed to be the closest to any human in terms of emotion, intelligence and to be able to make his own decisions.

Highly recommended to people interested in the Megaman X Series and with the prices for a new copy you really cant go wrong with it at All.

I'm a fan of the Mega Man series and I enjoy most of the games in the franchise. Overall, the games are emulated faithfully.
Mega Man X1 & X2 - Faithful ports of the SNES titles. No video or input glitches found here.
Mega Man X3 - This is actually a port of the PS1 release of the game. This game has marginally better graphics than its SNES counterpart, and remixed music. In my opinion, the music is mixed for the worse. The game has anime cut scenes which are nicely animated by 1990s standards, and the game plays well.
Mega Man X4, X5, & X6 - Faithful ports of the PS1 titles.
Rockman Racing - I still have not yet had a chance to play this, as this game has to be unlocked.

Mega Man X1-X4 are all really great games (despite the problems people have with X3).

Love having these all on a single disc, though some of the sounds are different, particularly for MMX, compared to the original SNES release. The built in game save feature is great to have instead of having to remember/write down save codes.

Also worth noting: If you are using component cables with your PS2, this disc switches between several resolutions depending on the game, so your TV will need to be able to support all of these lower resolutions between 240p and 480p, otherwise, you may hear the game running, but not see anything. Composite output does not have this problem, but is not as sharp.

I love nintendo a lot. I use to have a regular 3ds but i made a mistake and broke it and could no longer play it. I always wanted a new one but then nintendo kept coming out with new models nearly every other year so I would always want the newest one but could never afford it since i'm a kid and don't have a job. I was hesitant about a 2ds because i thought that #1 without it being able to close it would break just as easily as my last game #2 from what i had seen in pictures and online was that the 2ds was a lot smaller than the other 3ds systems. After a lot of research and watching videos i decided to get it anyway & i was actually pleasantly surprised!!!!!! :) The truth is yes it is a lot smaller than

Ugly. When this was released I was totally perplexed and almost angry because it seemed so pared down and ugly. I love handhelds and have had every itteration of the Game Boy Nintendo has ever made...some seemed mediocre and others great. The original 3ds I got at launch was not comfortable to hold for long periods until I added the Nerf armor which made it larger. My 3ds xl is the perfect handheld for me.....hundreds of hours on the system and it has held up very well. It also has a ton of downloaded games on it (which sometimes causes me to leave it home rather than risk damage or theft). I got a great deal on the 2ds, used BUT after spending just a few days with it, I decided it is one of my favorites.
I am like many people who rarely use the

This is one of the best controllers out there for PC, especially for this price range (It's easy to take apart for cleaning or replace parts if they ever wear out).

I love the wired controller more than the wireless (as with all my PC peripherals), I don't have to worry about replacing batteries/recharging, weak or delayed signal, it's cheaper price, cord is plenty long at 10 feet & it uses standard Phillips screws instead of torx security screws (unlike its wireless version).

I just replaced my original 12 year old Xbox 360 controller for a new one (yes it lasted me that long & I used it all the time. lol), everything still functions like new except for the left analog, which has just started to wear out (drifting issues). I ordered some new analog sensors & thumb sticks for $3(ebay) & plan on restoring it (requires soldering).

I strongly advise modifying

Just received the controller today, and I am quite disappointed. The left analog stick is EXTREMELY squeaky...almost comically so. I've owned many OEM 360 controllers in the past and have never even heard of this problem. The controller functions normally as far as I can tell but it's almost too annoying to use.

EDIT: I have put in moderate use with this controller over the past week, and am now forced to return this item. The squeaking did not improve and the left trigger and bumper both started sticking. Is this even an official Microsoft controller??

EDIT(2): Replacement arrived in less than 2 days. Works perfectly. Fully satisfied, Thanks Amazon.

Yes these are high quality controllers, but it sucks that this description is vague enough that it doesn't mention if the wireless USB receiver is included or not. I ordered from Amazon and did not receive one. I see no version of this product on Amazon that does explicitly include the receiver, so we are left to gamble on whether or not it will be included. It makes sense that Microsoft might not ship this with most controllers as you only need on for 4 controllers, but still it's unorganized and disingenuous of Amazon not to include accurate product information. Also one start for Microsoft's monopoly on the controller market by seemingly forcing developers to only support thier hardware, and not providing universal driver software for Windows OS.

This is my second PS3...I love the system. I also ordered a mounting bracket and a 500GB hard-drive at the same time ($32 on Amazon). When they both arrived (and before I even used the PS3), I simply attached the hard-drive to the bracket (takes 5 minutes), inserted it into the PS3, and I instantly had a 500GB PS3 system. Really sweet deal. Personally, I wouldn’t pay a premium for a 250GB or 500GB system when you can do it yourself with ease. After you plug it into the system, turn the PS3 on and it properly formats the hard drive for you. If you have any reservations about doing this, there are tons of YouTube videos about this. It also does far more than gaming. The PS3 is an outstanding Blu-ray player. Also, watching Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube is easy.

To start. I am happy with the purchase and would buy again....The price was fair for condition. That said, a console with many scratches, a binding creaking sliding cover and a side plate that I had to crazyglue on because the tabs were broken I dont consider Very Good condition. Hence my 3-stars for good used. The controller is ps3 original and holds a charge. The cables are new and as a bonus a 120gb hard drive was installed, kudos to JMS HOLDINGS. The system was externally dust free, works flawlessly and reset to factory settings.
Thanks.

The PlayStation 2 is well-known for having some of the best collections on it and this one is definitely one of the best. The Mega Man Anniversary Collection comes with Mega Man, Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, Mega Man 6, Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, Mega Man: The Power Battles, and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters.

All of which are presented with their original graphics as well as new options which you can turn on or off such as added difficulty settings, an option to use the original 8-bit soundtrack or a remixed CD quality soundtrack (which was previously used in the Japan-exclusive "Rockman: Complete Works" and sound really nice, a weapon switch button which was later used in Mega Man 9 & 10, and a save feature! When Mega Man Anniversary Collection came out in 2004, it was a stupidly-awesome deal. 10 games, two of which were previously unreleased, for 40 bucks? You kidding me? 12 years later, however, one might confuse this with the just-released Mega Man Legacy Collection. While I'll buy anything with that goofy robot mug on the cover, the Legacy Collection actually features much less content, for the price of a modern game.

If you're unfamiliar with Mega Man in general, and you've still got a ps2/xbox/gamecube kicking around, then the Anniversary Collection is a great and cheap way to get familiar with one of the most important video game franchises in the last 30 years. It features Mega Man 1-8, as well as two arcade beat-em-ups called Mega Man: The Power Battles 1 and 2. Any fool with an emulator can play most these games, so you're probably wondering, "What makes this package

Although I grew up playing the NES, I've never played any of the Mega Man games released for it (I played Mega Man X of the Super NES albeit for only a quick moment). Some years back, I came across this collection at a GameStop with the case & manual intact & didn't buy it due to lack of funds-& regret not getting it at the time after later finding out they sold it.

Now, I finally have this in my hands. You'll be getting 10 Mega Man games- although I got it mainly to play the 6 NES games. Mega Man 7, which was originally released for the Super NES is a decent game too, but Mega Man 8 (based on the PSOne release) may have to grow on me. The 2 games that needs to be unlock (the Mega Man Power Battle & Power Fighters games) are OK. They're

Let's start by saying that zero is one of my favorite megaman characters and I loved megaman x so I had to get this collection for my 3ds. This is one of my favorite games. All of the games are awesome but I am going to list them from least awesome to most awesome. Megaman zero 3 is my least favorite because I really haven't played enough of it to see anything that makes it any better than zero 2. Megaman zero 2 is my 3rd favorite one because it is it has fun and challenging missions and a good story. Megaman zero 4 is my 2nd favorite because it is the easiest one. And at the top spot is Megaman zero because it has a great villain, great story, great bosses, and great missions, and is just a great game overall. This is a great collection no Megaman fan

I'm still in the process of playing through this collection. I can already say that I wish I had followed this series from the beginning. I can't imagine there are too many people out there in the same situation but, if you have never played any of these games and you are a fan of the X series then you absolutely have to complete these games. I don't want to give away the story details but know this; the mavericks that you fight will make you think harder in order to stop them. At least that's what I thought. But I don't want to document any of that information here because once you know the tricks the games become easier. So far I've completed two out of the four Megaman Zero games and it was already worth the purchase. When you complete a game you get the option to play

Ah, how I can never get enough of the Mega Man games. After 25 years of success, I continue to get stoked whenever I play a new Mega Man title or series. This is an exact import of Mega Man Zero 1 through 4 -- each game was respectively released on the Game Boy Advance from 2002 to 2005. It looks even greater on the Nintendo DS because of the dual screen capability. I also love the new theme song that you hear when you see the title screen. The Capcom designers did such a wonderful, superb job to a "T", with ALL of the graphics, backgrounds, and soundtracks being intact. You can even change the jump/fire buttons to suit your own needs -- unlike Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the GameCube.

I've already beaten the first installment, so I'm already working on Mega Man

My husband plays it when he gets home from work (with my son), after the kids go to bed, when I've gone off to bed, on weekends, and in between live sports games. The game is good and much different than earlier versions of FIFA that I have played. The controls are similar, but the graphics and game play is much improved. However, I must say it is much harder to pass in this game than earlier versions of FIFA. In FIFA 16 the designers included the ability for players to intercept passes and I think they over did it on that end. The through ball almost never works in FIFA 16. The through ball will be intercepted the majority of the time. Overall, I think it is a good game and well worth the price.

If you have played WWE video games in the past 15 years, you have played them as essentially. It is a five-star game, but every year, they add just enough nuance that playing the older titles gets old fast because they are so dated (and not just due to the roster).

I thought WWE 2K14 hit the peak with its intentionally dated roster, and it was the last title to feature Create A Storyline (by far, my favourite feature in a wrestling game ever). I may list that game as my favourite just for those features alone, but I must admit that WWE 2K17 is loads of fun for the subtle yet undervalued addition of rebound moves. Not the springboard moves off the top of the ropes, but the addition of a number of moves where wrestler rebound off the ropes before delivering an (other simple) elbowdrop or

I bought this gift for my son, a wrestling fanatic whereas I hate the sport. I am hooked on the game more than he is! I will not watch wresteling still, I grew up when it was still "sport" with the older wrestlers. We are working hard to unlock people.
The game play gets on my nerves a bit, I will hit buttons and wonder why stuff doesn't happen, and my children remind me thats how wrestling works. The actions and movements are extremely similar as to if erformed in real life. It's a great game, just make sure to keep track of time as it is easy to spend time on it!

OK, I feel like there are some people who are waiting on reviews to buy this game and if you are, you're smart. Here is the lowdown that I wish someone had told me in the first place.

They really should not call the Xbox 360 version of this game WWE 2K17 it should be more like 2K16-1/2. The reason is everything you've read about backstage brawls and all the other upgrades do not apply to this game. Here is what you get, a larger roster and the exact same controls as WWE 2K16. No extra save space, no my career, no fixed ladder system. This is WWE 2K16 redone. It does load faster, has a few presentation upgrades but nothing else. You still have the Story Collection so you can have a little more control over your rivalries, but I'm not gonna be happy if they have the exact

It would be a sin for me not to give an honest review of Mega Man ZX Advent. This game is the most underrated game made by IntiCreates. Building upon what they learned from the first game and adding much more to it, makes for an even better game experience! I had originally bought the game but was having financial troubles and had to sell it. That was a huge mistake on my part, the game has so much to offer in terms of action and adventure. I would highly recommend buying this game, what with Mighty No. 9 right around the corner.

Edit: Mighty No 9 was a mistake and Comcept has been severely punished after the fact. Mega Man 11 sure was a thing, though.

As one of the last Megaman videogames, Megaman ZX Advent delivers a sequel which is at least twice as fun as its predecessor.
In this game, you can either play as a Reploid boy named Grey, or a hunter girl named Ashe. They both have their own storylines, and have certain distinct attributes that are highlighted as you play as them.
Other than the awesome gameplay, this version of the game has voice actors, which do help bring more depth to the game, (even if it is a little corny at times). It is also interesting to see how both characters interact with Biometal Model A, ( a very "cheeky" one), who allows Grey and Ashe to Megamerge, becoming the ultimate Megaman.
To be honest, I haven't finished the game myself yet, because there are a lot of side missions you can do while progressing the main story line. I find myself sometimes

I got this game a while ago and I was simply blown away at how much fun it was despite not having some of the best graphics (though the cutscenes are good)! The major cutscenes will be viewed with an anime graphic style as if you're watching a show on TV! My favorite part about this game is that you can play as either a boy (Grey) or a girl (Ashe), each with their own unique storyline. While there are some similarities between the story of Grey and Ashe, each character has their own interesting back story for you to unravel. I actually thought the voice acting was pretty good! I like all the voices they gave for the characters. The game is a little bit frustrating for beginners but it gets more enjoyable and easier the more you play it, so I rank this as a 5 star game!

How can you go wrong with the official product? You've seen all those fancy third party efforts, wrapping in their awesome colors and trims. But they always end up missing the mark.

This is only the third PS3 controller I've ever purchased because they last ages. The only thing that finally wore out on my other ones was the rubber around the thumb stick and that was after years of heavy usage. Otherwise they have phenomenal durability and impressive battery life.

The translucent red is a nice color too, I wish it came in a translucent blue.

Purchased for my son-in-law. He loves it, says it works great, and he has been using it non-stop since he got it. Also, it arrived quicker than I thought and was superbly packaged in new container. Son-in-law says it is definitely Sony and not ripoff. I personally don't know how to tell for sure, but he should know as he has been using Sony controllers for years and is pretty knowledgeable about electronics.

As a hardcore gamer I consider this, if you want to give a true opinion of what console has the best offering the best is the you have all, if you money allows this of course, but thanks to god and my job I can do this, so I bough this edition of PS3 with the complete collection of God of War to really test the Sony console capabilities and today after almost 4 years I'm really glad with this PS3 is fast, solid, and the exclusives are great. The negative in this console is the limited space drive 500 GB and the inability to add an external drive to save and play your games, other thing that I recently read is the ne price for PSN membership, the free games catalog vs. the free games catalog en Xbox Live and a little thing on the graphics is that always

I love this PS3. I had my 80GB Fat PS3 for six years and decided to purchase Sony's final version of the PS3. It does everything the old PS3 but does it better. I like the 500GB hard drive. I have already used about 120GB on it and I am in no danger of running out.

However, I did not like that the games that come with this PS3 come in cheap bendable cardboard sleeves and not actual plastic PS3 cases. It disappointed me but did not affect my opinion on the game(s). God of War Ascension is fun as well. I played about a solid 2 hours of it and it reinvigorated my love for the series.

Overall, Red is often the last color PlayStation Sony produces before the new console comes out. If you are looking to upgrade your PS3 from a fat one or from a slim one

Got a red playstation, not a red controller, it was obviously used, both the playstation and the controller itself. Didn't even come with a controller cord so I could charge it, I had to go to Rite Aid 30 minutes before they closed and got a USB Type A cord. No God of War Games game with it, didn't even come in a ps3 box, it came in a fed ex box, thank God I bought some ps3 games to go with it at the same time I purchased the console. It turns on at least and I was able to play a game, so my money wasn't completely wasted at least. I recommend just saving your money and go to best buy and buy a ps4 or something, or wait for the Playstation 5 to come out, you won't be disappointed.

A solid sequel to the Mega Man Zero series. You get several forms to change into, which are based on Zero (the main character from the previous series), the four guardians (Harpuia, Leviathan, Fefnir, Phantom), as well as Omega (final boss from the third game) if you do the sidequest which requires having physical copies of the last two Mega Man Zero games, and thus a DS Lite or phat/original (since the DSi and XL don't have GBA slots).

Without going too much into detail, the plot involves you delivering a package and getting attacked, and then you proceed to save the world. It's...slightly more in depth than that, but I just don't want to spoil.

The gameplay is just as tight as in the games from the previous series, which is to say very much so. If you die, it will be your own fault. There are easy, normal, and hard

As a successor to the Zero series, it's very much worthy. However, it stumbles in numerous ways.

If you've played Zero 4 to the end, you know my biggest issue with both Biometals Z and W. It's as if Capcom couldn't resist just destroying that amazing ending. Frankly, the whole game actually fits into that, because the Zero 4 ending gave us hope for a true peace... that was cast aside because hey, we can still milk popular characters!

If you've played Zero 2 to the end and Zero 3 to the end, you know my biggest issue with Biometal X.

Model LX feels extremely worthless on land and there an extremely limited number of water areas, where it shines, which is an insult to Fairy Leviathan, who was a great character. Model HX, on the other hand, is extremely busted and will likely be the one you use the most, outside of

While the overworld is overly large (especially with a virtually useless map) and the transport points are placed poorly, Mega Man ZX injects something fresh into the Zero-style formula without straying out of Mega Man territory. The biometal transformation mechanic is done well for a first attempt, though Models F and P often left something to be desired, what with F's inability to move while firing and P's general mediocrity. Each boss is unique and memorable, with easy-to-learn, hard-to-master patterns and character to the bosses themselves. The stages never seem overly long, though a select few fall victim to poor design choices (I'm looking at you, Area K). The story often grounds itself in the Zero series, but it introduces several new concepts, characters, and locations that keep the player wanting more of the world of 24XX. When it comes to fully completing the game, the hidden disks, while a

It is an ok game but I was looking for something else like the old TRON Disc game. This one has an updated version of that game which I do not view as being as good. In some respect, they up scaled a lot of the old TRON games and while it was cool to see it in the movie. Have to play it was not what I was looking for which most likely took away from the experience.

This game is fun for Tron fans. All the games, I think there are 8 in all, are good with the exception of the disc battle. The disc battle is very hard to "see," meaning that it is a 3-D type of game that has been poorly rendered into a 2-D format. All I seem to be able to do is jump around like a maniac and throw my disc blindly. Sometimes I hit someone, sometimes not. I can't really figure out how to aim or how to make a strategy for winning. The pace of the disc battle is super quick and it takes place in a very small environment, so it's hard to get your bearings from the beginning of each battle. --My favorite game in the set is the Tron take on jai alai (from the original movie). It is more slowly paced and you can work

The controls are smooth and mostly intuitive. The disc battles play a little like super smash brothers, and the racing is great. Me and friends prefer it to mariokart when a racing fix is needed. The other games all feel like a mix of WiiSports and old arcade games. The campaign is little more than a tutorial, and there's essentially no story. It's worth the money, but you're not missing anything if you don't buy this.
