This is the definitive edition version of Mario Kart 8, and a must buy for those who never owned the Wii U version. For those who already own the Wii U version, the changes may or not be worth it depending on what you're looking for. Without further ado here are the list of changes compared to the Wii U version:

1. 1080p with higher frame rate* when docked (TV mode) instead of 720p (on Wii U). Tabletop mode it's still 720p. Frame rate TV mode is 60fps, off TV mode is 59fps. Yes, one frame makes a difference when comparing side-by-side and/or when you have been playing dozens of hours of the original

2. 5 new characters: King Boo, Bowser Jr, Dry Bones, & Inklings (Boy and Girl)

3. Characters can now carry up to two items at once, even if they don't drag the first item

4. Double Item Box. Get

Really great gaming experience. Smooth as butter, great music, fun sound effects, very immersive. We've come a long way from Kart 64. I haven't really played much video games since the N64 (skipped both the Wii and WiiU, so I kinda feel like an old man jumping back into the World of Nintendo). It's made me feel like a kid again, and with how much stress I've been under these last few years with my health... that's a pretty big deal to me. Thank you, Nintendo. You guys are still making quality gaming experiences, and now I get to share it with my niece and nephews, which makes it 100x better. Take care. -Ken Jones, OKC, OK

I... have never been so taken aback by the vastness of a game. You really don't need to read another review, Zelda alone is worth the price of a switch. Like if they sold this game for 300 dollars I would probably buy it. In fact, it's the only Switch game I own, and have no real plans to purchase anything else because between the original game and Master Mode, I will be getting a divorce soon so I can spend more time collecting mushrooms and climbing mountains.

This is how you revitalize a franchise that was starting to grow stale in it's formula. I bought a Switch just to play this game and I do not regret my purchase. I'm going to go over pros and cons to make this review a little easier to read.

PROS:
+ HUGE OPEN WORLD - Lots of interesting places and things to discover. It's quite exhilarating to scale a mountain in order to get a better view of everything around you and then paraglide to points of interest. If you can see a place on the map, you can get to it.
+ COMBAT EXPERIMENTATION - Combat experimentation is fun and rewarding, for awhile (more explanation in 'cons' section).
+ FUN AND VARIED COMBAT (FOR AWHILE) - Different enemy types are interesting and have specific tactics that clearly telegraph their moves making combat a rewarding learning experience and almost never feels cheap.
+ RPG ELEMENTS

I tried, and tried, and tried ... I've put in maybe 30 hours to date, and I've gotten basically nowhere. And I don't really feel like moving on at this point.

This is a huge, HUGE game. I've explored maybe 10%. The graphics are excellent, the soundtrack is great if a bit minimalist. It's big, it's WIDE open, and it's super-involved. Weapons break on you. Stocks of ammunition (i.e. arrows) run out. If you want to eat, you need to collect and then cook your food. If you want to cook your food you need to find yourself some fire. And on, and on.

Big, open, involved -- all of these are probably plusses for a lot of gamers, and this game has certainly received its fair share of great reviews. But here's the thing: I'm an adult, with a real life and responsibilities. And every time I sit down in front

The main difference from this and a cheaper SanDisk Ultra, is this card is a U3 and the Ultra is U1. The U3 allows for faster installs and may save a few seconds on load times. The only reason I choose this card at the time was that it was on sale for only $3 more. I also get the awesome design along with 4x the storage space.
For those wondering why the free space on the card read 119, it is because of the way gigabytes are calculated.
The package has 1gb equaling 1,000,000,000 bytes. Really 1gb is 1,073,741,824 bytes. That 73,741,824 bytes (73.7 megabytes) missing per gigabyte. That really adds up.
All SD card and USB stick manufacturers use this calculation method; not just Sandisk.

I just purchased a Nintendo Switch at a Target, but I didn’t realize how bad I would be needing an SD card, so I checked in stores and they had this same exact card for over $60.00. So I checked up Amazon and long and behold I found it for $35.00! This was an amazing deal and I have to give it to Amazon they compete against everyone and I love it!

Last night, the memory card called out to me: Mario, save our princess, she’s in another castle and we can’t stand being without her anymore. I opened my eyes, and questioned if I really heard this or if my imagination was playing tricks on me. Since I cannot stand to hear mushrooms in distress, I immediately ran to the bathroom and grabbed my plunger. If it’s good enough for Mario, it’s good enough for me.

Then I turned on my switch, and beat the hell out of bowser in smash bros.

Cliff notes: this memory card, while pricier than others, is really cool and a bit nostalgic. But it works!

ALL 63 characters* from past Smash Brothers game are included in this game
+6 brand new characters
+5 new echo fighters,
+6 DLC characters** (not yet released).

-New characters include:

Inkling (Splatoon Series)
Ridley (Metroid)
King K. Rool (Donkey Kong)
Isabelle (Animal Crossing)
Incineroar (Pokemon)
Simon (Castlevania)

-New Echo Fighters. Echo fighters are essentially clones of original fighters with slightly change stats like different attack, defense, speed and special moves. Think Falco, Dark Pit and Lucina for example.

Daisy (Echo of Peach)
Richter (Simon)
Dark Samus (Samus)
Chrom (Roy)
Ken (Ryu)

You start off with original 8 characters from the very first Smash Bros game and have to unlock the others.

*63 if you count pokemon trainer and thier pokemon as one character; otherwise it's 65. No more choosing Lucario and imagining he's Mewtwo, one-time guest characters like Snake makes a return, and ice climbers are not excluded due to hardware limitations, DLC characters in Smash 4 like Ryu, Bayonetta are now part of main roster, etc.

My preorder from another store came Thursday afternoon, so I've been playing with my kids for about eight hours. It totally lives up to expectations. It's in no way perfect, but there's just so much good that I don't see how anybody can be sad. It's a game I'm going to be playing for years, and I'm going to enjoy it for years. If you're a parent, your kids will love playing with all their friends. If you're a returning player, all the nostalgia and great Smash gameplay is here. If you're new to Smash, this is a great game to play with other people.

When you first boot up, you'll have access to eight characters: Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Starfox, and Pikachu. Unlocks happen pretty quick, but we'll see how long it takes to unlock all 74 characters. I love some of the new costumes like the Mario

Great game. A lot of fun. However, I do have some complaints. I am a noob and it took a lot of work, looking online, youtube videos, and going through the menus to try to figure out what the game was even about, how to win, etc. It also does a pretty poor job of tutorials and the menus aren't very intuitive. There are a lot of confusing mechanics and options in the menu and the translation to english in the tutorials seems like there is something lost in translation.
Additionally, I got it for a party tonight, excited that there would be 74 fighters as advertised, but only 8 are available. Fighters are randomly unlocked by playing the game for hours. You might unlock 2 in 1 hour or play for 4 and unlock none. Plus you have no control of who

I keep giving Nintendo my money. I bought it as I started playing Zelda BOTW and didn't particularly like playing with the joycons attached. Hated to lay out another 70 bucks for a controller... but I did and I'm satisfied. Build quality on this is better than my Xbox, and the battery lasts seemingly forever. I love the feel of this compared to the Xbox controllers too. Damn you Nintendo... now I have 4 joycons (for mario cart), plus an extra controller, plus a charger, plus the plastic steering wheels. What will you make me buy next :).

I bought one at Gamestop and the left joystick stopped working after a few months. I sent it back to Nintendo under warranty thinking it was a fluke and bought another one while it was being repaired. The first one came back and worked fine but then after a few more months both failed, out of warranty. The problem seems to be the ball cover of the joystick top rubs against the round opening of the case and creates all sorts of plastic dust that gets into the joystick electronic switches and causes them to fail. I opened up the case, blew out the electronics and it worked for a little bit but then the problem came back, even though I kept the joystick top clean. I tried isopropyl alcohol to flush it, vacuumed it out and it worked afterwards for a week of heavy

The Switch Lite although nothing physically wrong with it, is completely useless to me and my family. I have two young kids, and all 3 of us have our own profiles which are linked under my main account via Nintendo ID. The problem is is that only the main account holder (me) can play the purchased games on both devices. So the Switch Lite does not work for either of my kids, only my main account. Amazing console. Not to big, not to small. There is something that just feels more intimate about a handheld device you can play while sitting on the couch in a relaxed position. Or even more being able to take the experience with you and combat the total boredom of a three hour layover at the airport, followed by another half day in a cramped airplane.

And my Dacckit Carrying case for Nintendo Switch lite is Perfect fit.Beautiful appearance with High Quality. Highly recommended to every one who ordered the NS Lite.

I strongly recommend AGAINST buying the Switch Lite. Downloaded content can only be played while connected to the internet. HUGE downside and problem since this is meant to be portable!!! Additionally, my 7 year old son can’t play ANY of the games that we purchased in the E-Shop for him because we purchased them under our adult profiles (a Nintendo rule!). This item is USELESS.

Typical Luigi Mansion game. Use Polterguest to solve creative puzzles. This time, there are new abilities to play around with

---Story:

Mario, Peach, and Toads are kidnapped during their stay at a hotel. Luigi goes through haunted hotel to save them.

---Graphics

Way better than past games with excellent lighting and textures. Love the characters facial and body animations in this game as it gives them a lot of personality. Most objects are not bolted to the ground so you can interact with them. One of the best looking games on the Nintendo Switch

---Gameplay:

--Poltergust G-00:

Main vacuum weapon of this game. Way too overpowered especially with the slam move. No Ghostbusters drag tug-o-war in this game. Most enemies are taken out by shining light to stun them, then suck them up, slam them till they burst into coins.

Combat is pretty weak, but the puzzle elements are really fun

Able to suck up items/enemies, blow air

need i say more? the game is basically unplayable for 50% of the gaming population.

(edit) For anyone who has ever played a FPS or even a 3rd person shooter like Resident Evil 4, you'll automatically know that using stick controls for aiming feels more natural to pull back to aim up and push forward to aim down. it's just like having a camera on a tripod. you pull back/down to aim up. Or in flight simulators, you pull back/down to go up. so, it's expected that the majority of gamers are used to this because we've been conditioned over years of gaming to expect controls that react this way. The C stick in the original Luigi's mansion has an inverted Y axis as well. I have no idea why nintendo would not include this simple option especially when it is the norm to have inverted Y axis for shooting/aiming games.

Love this case. There was a slight modification I made to it so that the game holders do not fall out when the Switch not in the case. I did this so I do not accidentally and unknowingly loose my investments sometime down the road when I have more games.

I simply used a piece of elastic (use lighter to melt ends to keep from fraying) and a few dabs of super glue to keep the game holders in place. Super glue was applied to the 2 ends as well as the center with the elastic slightly stretched. It holds the game holders while case is upside down. I usually do not write reviews, but wanted to share this idea with the community in hopes that it helps someone!

With so many positive reviews on here, I doubt anyone will see this one or care. I bought this and was super disappointed with it. It hold the Switch nice and securely. But that's it. I have the pro controller and it plain and simply does not hold it at all. It technically fits inside the bag, yes. But the picture leads you to believe it will be tightly secured but it's not, and I couldn't really even fit the joy con controller handle (the free one that comes with the Switch) and the pro controller in there. It was very misleading. I tried many different ways of putting in the controllers (had to settle with just the pro controller) but even then when I picked up the bag, it just came crashing down into the Switch. It's just a terrible design. I ended up going with the messenger bag

Same core game as the original on GameBoy for the most part, but with updated visuals/sound and a lot of quality of life changes.

An explore type Zelda game like 'Link between Worlds' where you interact with NPCs and discover the world on your own instead of the game telling you where to go each time.

Enough with the intro; onto the list of changes:

1. Presentation:

Graphical overhaul

Visuals are no longer blocky. HD, 3D graphics with a fully modeled world rather than a sprite based one.

The whole over-world looks like a diorama

Now has depth of field. Camera now follows link instead of being focused on central screen

Link and other characters look like nendoroid figures

Music is fully orchestrated, has some vocals

2. No screen transitions

Over-world no longer has screen transitions as areas are loaded in their entirety.

World feels more fluid

Island is one large connected world now

There is some frame rate drops when you enter houses

Links Awakening on Switch is one of those must-play games that gives you feeling of nostalgia and the stimulation you'd expect from a 1st party Nintendo game. What you're getting here is a top-down 3D-mesh re-creation of Zelda Links Awakening, as it was over 20 years ago when it first released on the original Game Boy. The modern switch remake is literally the same game, but it has more than your typical coat of paint. It comes with a dungeon creator, some new menus and inventory screens. The remake also has wider viewing angles and we are now done away with screen scrolling, which is replaced with smooth screen transitions that helps the world come to life. The developers designed the game with a 60 frames per second target, but sadly it doesn't feel as smooth as it should. The game runs a dynamic resolution. The primary resolution\frame rate you'll

I purchased 2 copies of this version of Minecraft to play with my son who lives in another state. After having trouble figuring out how Minecraft was going to work under the Nintendo Online system I went ahead and bought two versions and started fiddling with it. That's when I noticed how poor the system works with 2 big problems.

1. The game in theory, will let people (each with their own Nintendo Online account) to play together without using Microsoft Realms. I thought this would be a godsend, but it seems Nintendo hasn't done a great job aligning the features and my son soon realized that you can create a new world and both of us can play on it, but when we log out he can no longer join that server. Update #2:
Finally beat the main campaign after 6 months. Game has 23 worlds. Final boss is still Dragaux with ridiculous HP.

Took around 30-40 mins to beat stage and final boss. Ending was anti-climatic.

When you beat the game you unlock hard mode

Skill tree didn't expand. Then again I'm under level 200 when i beat the game. Doubt it'll expand again seeing I only need 2 more hearts to complete the 2nd row.

Didn't lose much weight doing exercises for 6 months. But body looks more tone, and my stamina has increased when playing sports/doing other exercises

There was a new update to the game in late March. Added:

-Rhythm game mode.

Basically a DDR, Simon says game with Ring con

Squeeze, pull, twist, turn, sway left/right, ab squeeze and squat to the beat and follow the icons coming at you.

There are occasional holds and rapid continuous squeezes also. Soundtracks from Nintendo franchises. If you're not familiar

I'm honoured to be the first to review this product on Amazon (assuming no one beats me to it while I'm typing this). This marks two unusualities (yes I'm aware that's not a word) for me in two days. The latter being writing a review on Amazon (or writing reviews in general), which I hardly if ever do. The first was yesterday when I exercised for the first time in approximately 2-3 years playing Ring Fit Adventure. That's not to say I've been completely sedentary for the last 2 years (for example, I spent two months in Europe this summer, did a fair amount of walking) but truly *working out* yeah, it's been a hot minute.

Some quick background info, I'm a 29-year-old female law student. I spend approx 93% of my time studying. The other 7% is split between eating and sleeping, so there isn't a whole lot of time

Let me start this by saying I'm not a creative person, and I do not design levels. My review will be from a playing only point of view, not a making one.

Super Mario Maker 2 is a great Mario experience, in which there is a full-fledged story mode, as well as endless user-generated content. The story mode alone has as much gameplay as a standalone 2D Mario game, and is a fun experience. As for the user-generated content, as long as you have an online membership ($20 USD a year) and an internet connection, there is a nearly unlimited selection of levels to play through. This game is truly limitless.

If you do not have an online membership, you are limited to just story mode levels (and any you create) and has the amount of content expected of a $60 Mario game.

If you do have an online membership, the game

Bought a Nintendo Switch for the kids for Christmas. Took the store salesman's advice and bought this screen protector. Installed it Christmas Eve, nice and easy. Three months later, the 4 year old drops the Switch down the hardwood stairs. Shortly thereafter, the teenage sibling says "uh oh!" The screen appears shattered. I'm imagining the aggravation of using the in store warranty and what that's going to be like when the teenager says "Do you think it's just the screen protector?" I'm thinking "no way" but I peel it back and to my amazement, it is! The screen protector absorbed the hard impact of the corner of the hardwood stairs and protected the screen of the Switch from damage. This product truly delivers on it's promise to protect the screen! Since it's a 2 pack, I pull out the spare, clean the screen with the provided wipes and apply the

Please beware, the manufacturer includes items in this kit that are not specifically designed for safe use on the Switch, and will actually damage the screen. Namely the "Wet Cleaning Wipe" and the "Dust Removal Stickers". The included Wet Cleaning Wipes claim to contain water and alcohol. Seems harmless, however after using the Wet Wipe on our brand new Switch's screen (before applying the protector), the screen was left with horrible white streaking that would not wipe off AT ALL. It would not come off by using the wet wipes again, would not come off with the Dry Wipe, nor water, nor soapy water, no matter how hard we tried. The white streaks are somehow permanently part of the screen. It seems that either the solution etched the screen or had an adverse chemical reaction with the screen material that caused this permanent streaking. I advise cleaning with warm lightly

So I bought this with no reviews posted on the product because I got the new Nintendo Switch Lite at launch. I was skeptical but now with the case in hand I can say it’s a really good product. Perfect fit. Nice TPU material. I was worried it was going to be a softer material that would lose form around the openings or slide around. Not the case here. Super sturdy and form fitting. Very similar to my clear TPU iPhone case which has taking numerous falls so I’m pretty confident it will help protect my new Nintendo Switch Lites. All in all I’m super satisfied with this product.

This is a really amazing case, the quality is easily worth $30. So for the price of the case it's a steal. It's not a really hard plastic but also not a soft rubber, it's in between and has a really good grip. The case is also crystal clear and feels great in the hands. Makes my Switch Lite feel very sturdy and protected.

I strongly reccomend this case!

I finally played the Nintendo Switch for the first time on October 27th 2017, so I'm slightly late to the party. I say this as someone who owns both an Xbox One and PS4 and games pretty regularly.

My first impression of the console was, wow, this thing is little. The joy cons are actually tiny. I'm a full size adult. But I slid the joy cons onto the sides of the tablet portion of the console and powered it up, created a Nintendo account (on my phone), signed in and did an update to the console and controllers. Neither took long. I never once used the touch screen and it took all of a minute for me to acclimate to the size and shape of the controls. It feels good even with full size hands which was surprising.

Next I popped in the physical copy of Super Mario Odyssey that I

Who needs another rave review of the Switch? I've owned every major video game system and many minor ones since the early 90's, this one is solidly ahead of the pack but from strictly a hardware standpoint, I wouldn't put it on top. It does everything it promises to, but it's the least excited I've been for a console since well, I bought a WiiU. While I'm glad Nintendo made something that indie developers are able to port their games to, at this point I know I'm only ever buying a Nintendo console to play a handful of first party games. That experience so far, has been phenomenal, and recommending Zelda and Mario isn't necessary, that is why you're getting a Switch in mid-2018. But I can't help but feel like for $300 this is hard to recommend over a cheaper Xbox One S if I only had to have

I like how I can play big name titles on the go, but its useless as can be because the battery will only last 2 or 3 hours.

The games that are out aren't really that great because most of them are really bad ports either from PC or other consoles. This is okay if you like limited battery life and crappy ports. The Switch itself is just a gaming console, there is no netflix, hulu, facebook etc.. I guess this is because they dont want to have any security exploits, but that really limits the use of the console. Online isn't free and that isn't a surprise nowadays and for $20 a year that isn't bad, but the fact that some of their biggest games don't support cloud saves is unacceptable. The online connection is also a pile because its P2P. The switch isn't for you if you take

The materials for this case are simply poor quality, I feel like I can snap it in half if I bend it slightly. I bought a cheaper hard case from a different brand that felt much better but didn't have room for the switch controllers to remain attached, but I'm going back to it because I don't feel comfortable with the durability of this case. For example, the zipper is so poorly attached I see the thread already unraveling that attaches it to the case and I just got it. When you do zip it, it feels very uneven and unsturdy. I'm genuinely surprised at the poor quality.

UPDATE: 5/1/17-

After my poor review, Nina from Orzly reached out to me and asked me to describe the issues I had with the case - she quickly determined that the quality did not meet their standards and sent me a replacement from England

This is a great case for the money, it all depends on what you want to carry with you. I don't have much now to haul but I have a few games and of course the Nintendo Switch with a pretty bulky case and guess what? It fits with it on it. That's the main thing I was looking for. It is the Mumba case which I also love. Fits small accessories as well but nothing big such as a charger or the small controller thst came with the console. Otherwise all is great like others have said. Good quality, pretty tough shell and good storage like the others.

Overall, this is a very serviceable case and is capable of carrying everything I would expect for a portable experience with the Nintendo Switch. The case has a solid-feeling hard rubber black shell with two zippers a molded section for the Switch and attached joycons and an accessories pocket. The case also has a handy carrying handle on the spine of the shell with a molded rubber grip.

The Switch console section of the case also has two elastic bands to hold the console in place when the case is opened. There's a middle section of the case that covers just the screen area to protect it from damage from anything you might put in the other pocket, and that section doubles as game card storage with small slots for game cards. However, there is no storage for any extra microSD cards you may carry. This

I went through two 2-packs of the AmFilm screen protectors before buying this. The first two applications of the AmFilm, I had to lift the protector to get trapped dust out, and each time there was damage to the corners when lifting it. The 3rd application went on alright, but it bubbled up at the corners after using the the switch in the dock for a bit.

Decided to take a change on the Orzly screen protector. Application was much smoother and easier than the AmFilm. The screen protector itself feels more sturdy than the AmFilm, despite being slightly thinner. It also fits the Switch screen perfectly, its truly edge-to-edge, whereas the AmFilm does not fill the entire screen and leaves a small gap on either side. I had zero issues with any air bubbles or dust with the Orzly.

One thing that is worth noting is that the picture quality of

Seriously one of the easiest screen protectors I've ever installed, and I've done a lot. I was paranoid about getting the notorious dock scratches that have affected so many, so I initially picked up an official Nintendo screen protector when I bought my Switch at Best Buy. If I had read the reviews beforehand, I could've saved myself $9, as that thing was rubbish. Immediately looked online for alternatives and saw the glowing reviews for this one, and it was priced very attractively, so of course I bought it.

Installation was a breeze, though I do regret installing mine in the dustiest room in my house, because I've got the smallest mote of dust in the bottom corner of the Switch, but it isn't on the actual LCD screen, so I'll probably just leave it.

Would definitely recommend and would also buy again, though I won't need to for a while, considering

This protector does what it says, and with that I am happy. The protector is nice and sturdy, it is easy to apply. HOWEVER, when using this product, it comes with a anti-dust remover sticker. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT use it. It will cause you to have irreparable damage to the screen of your switch. It stripes off the top layer of the switches screen and cause scuff marks. The anti-dust sticker is not needed. Simply use the alcohol swab and cleaning towel that comes with it. It would be better if they just took the anti-dust sticker out althoger. Other than that, I would suggest to the company to develop a way that would allow better alignment when applying the protector. The bottom line is: for the price, and the ease of use with exceptional make and protection, this screen protector is great for what
