For the price, I was torn between getting this or the hand crank Marcato Atlas 150 (hands free model is twice as much). It came down to the fact that I already have a KitchenAid Mixer and would be using it to help mix the dough. In retrospect, even though the price on the 3-Piece Pasta Roller hasn't budged in the whole time that I've been

This is a wonderful set of equipment. I made my first noodles last night and found them to be sooo easy! I didn't even look at Utube or KitchenAide sites. If you follow the dough recipe (included) exactly then you will have dough that is not sticky and doesn't need more flour. I made a huge batch of fettucine noodles last night and froze m

Great product, love it, does great work. But...
After you've made dough and it's covered in flour, DO NOT wash it in the sink. The flour turns to dough inside the nooks and crannies and becomes impossible to clean. In fact it comes with a little brush and a note that very clearly tells you never to do this. Clean it solely with the st

I bought the Kitchenaid Pasta Roller and Cutter set early in our gluten free adventure. Like most kids, mine loved pasta and the premade pastas at the time, not only tasted bad, but were expensive. So I thought I would try to make my own. Over the years, I have made gluten free pasta using this set and I absolutely love it. Both rollin

First a sellers note: They sent me this broken. The ring bearing on the fettuccine roller was detached and clanging inside the machine. I didn't know that when I first used the machine, when I tried to roll pasta through the fettuccine part of the machine and it didn't roll, I just thought I didn't know how to use the machine well enough

I bought this device 9 years ago and it failed last week. Looked at the warranty and it said 5 years. I resigned myself to getting another one but just to see other options I went to a local kitchen supply store and found the “the same”make and model there but it had a 10 warranty. It was $5 more in the store but I bought it. Then I w

We have always loved gnocchi. Even as accomplished cooks, it has remained somewhat of an enigma—a special Italian restaurant meal to savor that we had never seriously considering making ourselves. I panicked and almost returned this after I opened it and found the sharp edges around the metal holes. The directions don't mention the need to oil or flour the metal frame before using it, which is a pretty significant detail to just leave out. I'm not new to pasta making. Having been brought up in an Italian household, and being a second-generation American, fresh pasta was a big part of our Sunday dinners. I bought this because I love pasta! I can eat a whole box of store bought pasta at one sitting, which is not good for my weight or my health.
