It works, arrived on time, good packaging, and not damaged. Install wasn't very hard and fit our 99 Coleman Westlake. I had to replace the fill hose so I figured I'd go ahead and replace the inlet while I was at it. Very happy and the price is tough to beat, especially since it was delivered straight to my door.

Exactly what I needed, fit easily over the 'flower', closes securely. Including a photo for anyone else who always wonders if what you're ordering is really what you're looking for. Happy trails.

Installed this on the fresh water inlet of our Jayco GreyHawk. The OEM plug had deteriorated to the point that all that was left was the round part, not strap securing it to the RV. This new one installed in seconds. Seems to be made of quality material. For the price I would recommend it. If it happens to fail in a year or two it is cheap enough to replace.

.Bought an older pop-up camp trailer and needed something to cover the water inlet fitting. This filled the bill. Easy to install and now I don't need to worry about contaminants getting into our drinking water system. With the strap I also don't need to worry about loosing it when we are hooked up to city water.

This part worked well, fit properly if you install it properly! I struggled to line it up similar to the old water pump (if you get a new water pump you should just get a new one of these to, it's not worth the effort to remove the old pipe and reuse) and ensure that it was tight. I stepped on the water pump and tried to tighten it, but eventually I was killing my self with no gains. Then it hit me, unbolt the A/C Compressor (don't remove the 5th bolt that connects the a/c lines though!), put it to the side, and bolt on the water pump to the proper torque. Then, use a good wrench to finish the pipe alignment. I was nervious when I started, thinking the pipe nut was stripped by myself earlier, but a little elbow grease finished the

This tube replaced the rusted out water heater core return line on the water pump for the jeep grand cherokkee 4.0 I6 that I have. If you are replacing your water pump this pipe should be replaced as well. First, you'll find removing the old one is too much of a pain. Second, it's the source of rust and leaking and contaminating new fluid by keeping the old rusted out one. It's a perfect fit and mine installed into the new water pump just fine. Be aware that when you install it make it nice and tight and line up the outlet with the hose on the water pump prior to installing the water pump or you'll find yourself taking the pump back off as this pipe only goes on one way.

In a heated moment I would have rate this zero stars.
However, having since calmed down from my frustration I give it three stars.
It mirrors the same inlet tube on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L which was exactly what I needed.
Having said the manufacturer needs to do a better job at Quality Assurance because there was a small pin hole directly through the steel tube.
Of course I only discovered this after finishing the job and re-adding the coolant for a pressure test.

Just got it today and installed it in under 5 min. This one replaces my B&B, that one was trash didnt even make it a full summer before it stripped out. This one is very strong and has a brass connector so its easy on and easy off no fuss. Mine came with the putty sealant 3 screws and plumber's tape. All the holes matched up perfectly.

This is a great replacement inlet. I was actually a little surprised by how much better quality this replacement inlet was compared to the original inlet on our RV. I did find that the screw holes were off by maybe .5mm each, but they were close enough that I did not have to drill new holes to install it. It comes with everything you need: Three screws, a bit of teflon tape (although we didn't need it since we have a sink-type connector hose,) and enough sealant tape to go twice around the flange (since there is a little lip around the perimeter, it needs two layers to seal well against the siding.) I am very happy with the value I received in this purchase. I'm sure you will be as well.

The unit has brass parts for the water hookup and just plastic as an outside covering. Well made. It has a check valve that some people will like. Easy to install and plenty of sealant. Better than the original part and at a very good price.

The opening from the original fill wasn't big enough. This one is a little bigger. I had to use an oscillating tool to widen the opening. As you can see from my picture, my camper is a little older. Not sure if it will bolt right up to a newer camper/RV better.

Even with having to modify the hole a bit, it wasn't a bad replacement job. Added som butyl and some caulk to seal it up. Looks much better than my dry rotted, brittle original one.

Fits and looks great. Both hoses hooked right up.
Screw holes didn't match up but that's a very minor point. Would be nice if it came with screws. My old one had rusty screws. I used new stainless screws to install this one. Looks much better. Takes about 10 minutes to install. Be sure to seal around it.

PROs: the overall fit and function is good.

CONS: does not come w/ a round rubber/foam gasket to seal the hole like the OEM...i had to caulk instead.
A minor design flaw is how tight the recesses are of the screw holes. you cannot use a standard socket head to tighten the screws due to the tolerance being so low. My screws are 0.25" hex heads (no flat/phillips). I used a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

These work until they don't and then you install a new one. They wear out more often when you travel a lot in your RV and are installing the water hose over and over. This is just like the original equipment and was an exact fit. It took longer to get the old one off than install the new one. It comes with everything you need, including the sealant.

Excellent replacement for near 30 year-old original fresh water connect that was dripping. Solid metal construction with nice white finish. Although original was square with rounded corners and held in place with four screws, the Valterra was essentially same diameter/size but completely round with only three mounting holes/screws. It was a good fit. Original served its purpose but was all plastic. The Valterra is solid build with brass check valve. Very satisfied.

It attaches to the water hose, and inserts down the fresh water gravity fill on the travel trailer about 6 inches or more. Make it very handy when filling the fresh water tank since it has it's on shut off valve. When the water tank is full, I can shut off the Quick Fill Pigtail w/ Shut Off, and then go to the water faucet to cut off the water at the house.

It's long enough to stay down the fresh water fill without fear of it falling out. Without the Quick Fill, the water hose hardly fits inside the fresh water fill, and one must hold the hose the entire time the water tank is being filled. Once I got this device, it was turn on the water and let it fill.

We have a travel trailer and frequently camp with our two young kids at state parks and national lands in the Midwest. Hardly any have water hookups. This fill hose twists on easily to the water hose at the fill station and has a shut off valve dial on it. The fill hose sits secure in our 30ft Jayco trailer, I can insert the hose into the fill hole and let go without it falling out. The shut off valve has worked great for us so far – we’ve had no problems with it as some other reviewers mentioned (maybe it was just a bad lot of that component?). I know that there are some versions on Pinterest of how to make one of these yourself, but the cost was worth not having to hassle with any of that. Ordering with Amazon prime made it easy, delivered straight to my

Of the many cheap items I have skeptically purchased for my RV thinking they would be a waist of time and money, this one is a rare keeper. Basically, it makes filling your RV water tank a one person job. I assumed the plastic valve that shuts the water off would leak or not work well. It did not leak and actually works! So far so good and dry shoes now too! :)

I was surprised as how well this is constructed. Brass hose and pipe fitting with heavy plastic grip and bezel. A01-0170LF was a 3 hole. I easily drilled another hole for my 2-hole mount in my 2005 Winnebago. Bezel was same size and pipe length was same as old one. Except for being a 3 hole it was a perfect fit.

Installed in 1999 Winnebago Chieftain. Not an exact replacement but pretty darn close to it. Did have to drill two additional mounting holes, was able to use one of the original mounting holes. Original had two mounting screws and this one is for three. Length of brass pipe on back side was just right and all that matched up easy. This is actually a nicer inlet with larger grip for connecting hose to. Very easy to replace.

The brass part of the product is definitely sturdy. I've had a similar one on a trailer and liked how easy it was to hold the hose and spin the connection to attach the two. I used small bolts with lock nuts on the back to secure it. With a hose hanging off this, the weight and torque needs more than screws, IMHO. It would be nice if they included a template to better position the screw holes after drilling the main hole.

I purchased this because the hose originally on my water tanks cracked and leaked. This was not the same as I had but similar (Original only came in 50'+ lengths). This hose was easy to work with and with the smooth sections made it seal to the tank with less fear of leaking through the spirals. Still sealed with food grade silicone on inside and outside to be sure I had the best chance for sealing because the hose location was difficult to access. I would purchase again and will buy more for my fill hose in the future.

The hose was a perfect replacement for the damaged hose on my Thor diesel pusher motorhome. It connects the water filler connection to the water tank. I liked the white smooth spots on the hose where the hose clamps go. They were in the exact right locations. This hose is better than the original. The hose was 3 feet long.

It worked to replace our sanitary tank filler. BUT, it seemed looser than it should have. Looked identical with identical sizing markings, but I went ahead and used a bead of silicone as it wasn't quite as snug as the hose that came off. But it worked! AND the good thing is that the inside is smooth the whole way, not just at the flats.

This is a great product.I would not count on the wheels to go very far.I keep mine on another small trailer with road worthy wheels. The first time I used it I filled it right to the very top of the tank.I had to drive about 6 miles to the dump station. When I got there the tank had produced tremendous pressure,I was surprised the tank had not burst. When I cracked the lid it blew crap in the air 10 to 12 feet,it cover me and my wife and about a half dozen other people who were standing around the dump station.Needless to say we were not to popular that day.I hope you can learn from my mistake, leave several inches of space on the top of the tank,if you build up methane it can be let off safely by cracking the small lid.Good luck.

Not happy with this product at all. It's one of the more expensive blue boys out there. I have only had it for 2 months. It works like advertised, however, it sat on the ground under my 5th wheel and was exposed to the afternoon sun. It expanded, and then the axel popped off, and cannot be reinserted. The tank is very rounded now and won't go back to its original shape. The tank is now useless as I can't roll it on its wheels to the dump station. The instructions did not state anywhere that the valve needs to be open to prevent expansion in the hot sun.

You can tell this is a quality product as soon as you pick it up
Install was simple in the side of our camper van
- Not many stores carry a 3.5" hole saw so I recommend picking up one on Amazon as you buy this

HELPFUL - Had the hardest time finding tubing for the 1 1/4 barn fitting on the back but we found that aquarium stores carry tubing ( we filter our water with a berkey after so not worries about what kind of tubing we use for filling the tank )

Installed with putty/silicone and have an water tight seal
No issues with cap staying on
I highly recommend this to anyone

I ordered three of these for a BUS/RV conversion, and dimensions were perfect for my constraints. DId not ship with adequate packaging (as seems usual for these kinds of thing) so tank came with scuffs, scratches, and some rather large gouges. The fittings on the ends (the beat and potatoes) did have extra cardboard proecting them, which is a bonus. FYI, I think all of thiese tanks are HDPE, which means if you clean the surface very well, pre-warm with a torche, then hot-glue fiberglass ribbon along the break, it shold be stronger than new.
Don't forget to add the heating pads that keep the water temp > 40F to avoid frezzing/cracking.

We had a custom tank very close to these dimensions quoted to us for around $430. I was nervous about ordering this one, as the price point is totally awesome and you just never know what is going to arrive in the mail with cheaper items. But it is PERFECT. It is quite honestly just as good as the other custom tanks we have ordered in the past constructed of the same material. I am so, so glad that I found this freshwater tank on Amazon-- it literally saved us hundreds of dollars! And it works famously in our school bus conversion. Definitely would recommend this!!!!

I purchased a new (1 year old) RV last year and at only 26 gallons, the water tank was a little small. There was plenty of space under the bed, so I planned to install this tank in its place. Once I started on the project however, I decided to simply add this tank to increase the fresh water supply. I had to build a base to raise the existing tank so the tops of the 2 tanks were the same height. I then ran the line from the outlet of the old tank to a T on the outlet of the new tank that then runs to the pump. I Tee'd the vents together as well. The only problem is that it fills kind of slow as the only connections between the tanks are the smaller 1/2" lines. Since, I decided to

I thought the gravity water cover was included in the purchase (that is what is in the picture) and I didn't receive one with my order and had to order one. This was exactly as pictured (besides the gravity cover) but it was a more difficult replacement. The pressure fill on out 2001 Prowler trailer would not screw on to the new cover and we had to replace the fitting. If it would have screwed on, we would have been able to replace the cover in about 15 minutes.

Foolproof, faultless. It's US-made, quiet, and seals perfectly. I bought it to replace a Chinese mfg inlet whose steel dish began for rust almost from the first day of installation, leaked and was noisy (check valve poorly calibrated or designed) regardless of the water pressure.. Do yourself a favor--spend a few more dollars and get this original quality OEM item.

I used this hookup to replace an old rusty one on my 1990 Winnebago Warrior. After shopping around, this water-fill seemed like the highest quality option out there, with brass plumbing all the way through. The product fit well but the plastic mounting flange (which seems pretty thick) was not very rigid, so I watched the assembly flex as I attached my PEX on the inside of the camper. After a full month and 9,000 miles on the road, I'm happy with the purchase and expect it to last as long as I own the camper.

Ordered four of these for my travel trailer.

60 gallon potable
30 gallon black
30 gallon grey 1
30 gallon grey 2

Installation was easy once you get access to the bottom of the tanks and run the wires. However, the overall installation takes a while and is somewhat difficult for most. I would not even bother with the included fuse holders (you get one fuse holder for every two pads when you order this product). Just use a spare space (I used two, pot/black and grey/grey)) at your load center. I decided to use a 3 switch panel. One for potable, one for black, and one for both grey tanks. Since I had access, I went ahead and also installed a reflective thermal layer under the tanks. Its the thin stuff that is basically thin bubble wrap cover in foil. Each tank needed 2' x 5'

It’s a little time consuming but way cheaper than what Camping World wanted to charge to install! Do yourself a favor and do this yourself because it’s not too hard to accomplish. There are at least three videos on YouTube that describe how to install these. Our dealer wanted $1400 to do this job! Ouch. If you can take the time and do it yourself you can do it for less than a fraction of that! They worked flawlessly on our trip to Yosemite in late January.

It works, but is cheaply manufactured like most other tanks. The function could be greatly improved if the drain port was placed in a sump. I have to place my camper on a considerable side hill or drive with the drain open to get most of the water out.

I used this on my 2018 Sprinter 2500 170 Conversion. It fit perfectly under the van behind the drivers seat. I did have to fabricate brackets to mount the tank but I expected to do that since tank does not come with brackets.

The issue I have with the tank and the reason for the 3 stars is the build quality. As another reviewer mentioned, there were plastic shavings in the tank that I cleaned out before installing the tank. The manufacturers installation of the threaded fittings looks like it was done by a 4 year old with big drips everywhere and sloppy work. The biggest problem is that the TANK LEAKS. It took awhile to find the lead but it was at the top of the fitting attachment for the vent hose. I put some goop on it and it seems to be holding. Even with the leak, only the

This is the 5 gallon tank, placed in the space where a furnace used to be, in a Lance truck bed camper. What a well built sturdy little tank. Hardly a footprint to speak of. We'll be able to secure it in either position, and the weight will be insignificant. This is perfect for what we have planned. The fittings are typical fitting sizes; not some obscure impossible to get hardware. Really am impressed with this purchase.

Living in the south I get to take the camper out pretty much year round and don't have to worry much about winter temps. Well, we've made a few trips this winter to some places around Albuquerque NM and let's just say I wasn't as prepared as I should have been. My fresh water tank froze over when the temps dropped below 0 even with us blasting the furnace. I guess the bottom of my tank is just too far from the heat envelope. This Facon heating pad solved that problem. It was super easy to install once I got the bottom of the tank exposed; just sticks on. For now, I've just hard wired it to the battery and I'm pulling the fuse to disable it when it's sitting. I'll eventually wire in a switch. This is one of those must have features in my opinion; even if you

Very pleased with this heater. I was able to hard wire the 12 volt system easily. I prepped the bottom of my fresh water holding tank with denatured alcohol and installed the mat in 20 degree weather. (The included instructions recommend not doing this below 68 Fahrenheit) I was careful to make sure that it adhered well.
