I've played with these a few times, and so far, it's a good set. The cards feel nice, they aren't sticking together, and they don't bend easily (if you're not trying to bend them, of course). There is no card tray, so if that will be a problem, get one. There are some blank cards so you can make up your own, and they include some suggestions that I can see either being fun or, at least, entertaining to those watching. I haven't created my own cards yet, but I think any permanent marker should work fine.

Way too much plastic inside. This product could be so much smaller and more portable but they decided to add this gigantic plastic insert. I like pack Uno with me when I travel and was looking for a substitute for the cardboard box that fell apart quickly. Looks like ill have to make my own

Hasbro Connect 4 Game was one of our daughter's absolute favorite games to play, growing up. In fact, she and her dad played a game of it almost every night as part of her bedtime routine. Our daughter now has kids of her own and it is time to continue the tradition of playing this game. We ordered it at Christmastime and have been looking forward to playing it with the grandchildren. It got set aside, but has now been noticed again by our grandson and he is very excited to play it. Got it out and put it together, ready for his next visit. Looks about the same as it did back then. There is some fun to be had here. Looking forward to many years of making new and fabulous memories of Connect 4 with the grandchildren.

Anyone can play it. It's ready to go out of the box. You can play for minutes or an hour. Losing a disc somewhere under the couch isn't the end of the world. Kids different ages can still play with each other. This is an essential go to the toy closet sort of item. I was afraid a new one like this might be cheaper feeling or flimsier than the older ones, but was pleased to see that while it won't survive really rough handling the toy is durable enough for normal little kid play.

We absolutely love this game! The sad part is that the world has become accustomed to cheaply made products. Unfortunately, this is just a price we have to pay if we want affordable products. Hasbro has done a wonderful job ensuring that Connect 4 continues to be a part of our lives, but if you're looking for the sturdy game you had when you were a kid, this one falls a little short. The rack is flimsy and made of thin plastic, and the discs lack that heavy checker weight, BUT they totally work. Just mentioning it for the people who are nostalgic, this game just feels a little different. Our kids don't know the difference and it certainly doesn't matter when you measure the memories that were making with them, but it is nice to remember some of the differences from when we were kids.

I admit I wasn't particularly excited when I saw the initial reviews and playthroughs of this game. The name/theme make it sound like a hidden role type of game a la The Resistance, but that's really not what it is. The theme is spy-based, sure, but only to make this more interesting than a generic word game. Nothing about it besides the artwork makes you feel like you're playing as or against a spy.

What this game IS, however, is a very solid word game with a little bit of deduction, press your luck, and "party" thrown in.

In short, the game plays like this: two teams, each with a clue-giver (spymaster) and one or more guessers. On the table are 25 random words. Each spymaster is trying to give their team one-word clues that help them relate one or more of the words on the table together (without saying the actual

This review is specifically for those thinking of playing it as a two player game. Codenames is a clue giving and partner solving game where the clue giver will say a word and a number. For example: animal, three. Laid out will be twenty five cards with secret agent codenames written on them. In my example I am indicating that there are three codenames related to the word animal. Hopefully my partner will guess which three cards/codenames they are. 12 of the cards/codenames are designated for the red team. 12 for the blue. And 1 for the assassin. If your partner picks the card that is associated with the assassin the game ends immediately. In a two player game there is no other team. So you and your partner pick which team you will be (blue or red). You then get 8 turns to try and "beat" the game. To

We are gamers, I own almost 100 games. I was excited to try this game due to the high rating. It was an epic fail. First you have to try to give clues that are only for your group of cards and none of the other teams. You give a one word clue that is suppose to relate to one or more cards (only you know which ones) and your partner better have the same thought train. The guessers complained we took too long between giving clues UNTIL the next game when they became the clue givers and saw it wasn’t easy. This is not a fun light hearted game and I doubt young children could play at all.

Beware! Don't try this unless you plan on getting addicted. Your life will forever be altered. You'll find yourself begging strangers to come over to play. Watching youtube videos to improve your game, bribing your children.
Your spouse will become a tricky, sneaky person you hardly recognize. While you will plot ways to take over.
Side effects include: less tv watching, more under the table kicking, spontaneous manical laughter, snacking while plotting the demise of your friends and family. Best fun you've had in hours!

Absolutely do not purchase from a third party seller. Ever.

I purchased two copies. One from Amazon and one from a third party. The copy from a third party was seven dollars cheaper. That's because it's a pirated and thoroughly illegal copy.

And man what a copy it is. Almost perfect. But look at the photographs attached (pirate copy on the right) and you will see misspellings all over the back of the box like 'strart by revealing Catan's' and 'No two games ard the same.' The colors are slightly different. The pirated copy contained twice as many orange road pieces as it was supposed to and was missing a white road. Additionally, the pieces were rough.

Outside of that the pirated copy contained stickers, promotional material, the works! Very deceptive.

This is the base game. I can't emphasize that enough. This review will only handle the base game, minus expansions.

LEARNING CURVE: This game is extraordinarily simple and straightforward to learn. Played once through, it makes plenty of sense and opens doors to more complex rules and gameplay.

GAME SPEED: 1-2 hours for 4 players. Game moves briskly but with obvious early-, mid-, and end-game stages that each have their own strategies and approaches. Game easily resumed from a paused state if you take a break.

GAMEPLAY OVERALL: Catan is satisfying to play, even more satisfying to win. As a game best played with a poker face and a good set of bluffing skills, Catan rewards long-term foresight and strategies more than rushed or brute-forced gameplay techniques. Catan can become repetitive IF and ONLY IF you refuse to play randomly. I highly

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who really likes puzzles and games.
The pictures are clear and very pretty, and they are printed on thick boards - like puzzles.
There are 2 different pairs of almost every Disney princess imaginable (excluding Elsa, Anna and Moana) and other minor characters from Disney movies.
My daughter loves this game, and plays with it almost every night. We change the level of difficulty depending on her state (hahaha). For example, when she is tired or distracted, we just use 4 pairs of cards at a time, but then maybe 11 or more pairs when she is playing well. There are enough pairs of cards in the set that even older children should find the game challenging.

All in all, a very satisfactory purchase!

Great sturdy tiles! My 3yr old niece loves playing games with my dad, and the matching game is their favorite. She always manages to school him in the game. And she adores the Disney characters on each tile as well. Would definitely buy again.

My 4 and 6 year old love to play this game. There was an older version of this game at a beach condo we rented for a week, and the whole family liked to play so we decided to buy it. Just like the older version there are 72 thick cardboard characters, however this particular version my kids have figured out that if they look from the side of the card they can see the colors on the side that is facing down!! Makes it very easy to find the matches!! So instead of using their memory as intended, they look for the color. So because of this I have knocked off a couple stars.

Best. Game. Ever.
I have two daughters, one whom has Apraxia of speech and the other who is a beginning reader. The pictures ensure that my younger daughter (with Apraxia) can still independently play, while it encourages both my children to read aloud the object. This game requires no adult help, so my daughters will literally spend hours playing this game together. It is super sturdy game with thick, sturdy, double sided cardboard bingo cards and the text and pictures on the yellow “chips” have no scratching or fading from frequent overuse; we do have problems sticking the discarded yellow chips back in on one side of the Zingo machine if it’s not placed in the slot *just so*, but I’m sure it’s from an overzealous preschooler and not the manufacturer. This game is now my go-to gift for any birthday party we are invited to and my girls are always

My boys (4 & 6) love game night but my wife and I were tiring of Candyland. Zingo has been a great alternative. I would just recommend one change: have some Zingo cards with the actual numbers on them. I know they're trying to reinforce counting, but some of the objects on the card they are supposed to count are spaced too closely together and get confusing for little one to count. We just made our own cards with numbers to get around this.

When I read in the description that the game had 72 tiles, I assumed 72 different words; after all, it is marketed for children in pre-K to 1st grade. The description should mention that there are only 24 different words (three tiles per word).

The words included are as follows: AND, COME, FOR, HERE, MY, SAID, THE, THREE, WE, WHERE, ARE, HAVE, OUR, SHE, THERE, THEY, WENT, WHAT, WHO, ME, IN, TWO, NOW, WANT.

I bought this game to add to our homeschool classroom. I felt we were missing something. I have 2 boys on the autism spectrum. How do I teach patience, to try something new, to accept failure and try again? What do I do about fear of failing? What do I do with a perfectionist who is afraid to try? How do I teach to master something takes much trial and error? How do I teach to lengthen attention span? This series of games does just that. The games starts very simple and to master it takes lots of practice and many mistakes. We had many meltdowns in the beginning. The games teach you to think a certain way and starting at the beginning and working your way through you start to figure it out. The games for us just didn’t entertain they helped me teach valuable life skills. We

My kids are 6 and 10 and they both LOVE this game. Even I enjoy it. My 10-year-old's occupational therapist introduced us to it as a way to help her learn to overcome frustration and solve puzzles. It has been a wild success. Both of my girls will sit and stare at the pieces and move them around and move them back until they get the solution. Particularly nice in my opinion is that the solutions are on the back of the cards, so if you do get really stumped, you can look at the answer. In our house, if you look at the answer, you have to start over and figure it out on your own after solving with the answer. I've found it helps with memory and perseverance. I highly recommend this game for kids and adults. There are three expansion packs you can also buy and you

I've had trouble finding logic games that my kids like. They tend to get frustrated with the puzzles before solving them, so I was torn between getting puzzles too easy for them so they can build up some confidence and puzzles that provide a challenge. Well now I think I just wasn't getting the right kind of puzzles. Both of my kids seem frustrated with the "fill the pieces in" kind of puzzles (Trucky for example). I wouldn't have purchased this, but my 8 year old son had played this at a Children's Museum a few times and before long, that was the first place he wanted to go when we arrived. I finally decided to purchase it for him but I was torn between this one and the Junior version since we have a 4 year old as well. I'm glad we got

I debated for a while between this set and some others that had working reels and line. Ultimately, since my kids are only 1 and 2, I decided on these for now, as I knew they'd be of better quality and durability for younger children. I think I made the right decision. My 2 (almost 3) year old enjoyed fishing for these in and out of the tub! My 1 year old just saw it as a weapon to hit his sister with, kind of as expected. I liked that the line is a good quality, fast dry fabric and not long enough to become wrapped around a child's neck. The fish are completely sealed so no concerns for mold growth. The magnets are strong enough for a quick connection every time. My daughter's been reeling in both directions and had no issues with the reel jamming or breaking yet.

Bought this to go with my 3-year-old daughter's water table and was slightly disappointed that it doesn't actually reel in the toys. It does make a clicking sound as you rotate it to insinuate the realism of reeling in I suppose, but it would have been a nice feature. My daughter is also confused as to why there's a baby to fish. All 3 should be fish imo. Other than that, the magnets work and they're big enough to not be a potential choking hazard.

Wonderful game. In the beginning we were confused and were not sure how to play. This is one of those games that you actually have to read the instructions to understand how the game works - it isn't a pick it up and figure out the rules on your own kind of game.

Once we actually read the instructions, it is so much fun. My 2 year old loves this game and understands the rules with no problem. These cards are printed with so much detail and the Disney theme is such a perk! I feel many of the negative reviews I read are because people dont know how to play and did not read the rules - ex. You are NOT going to find each item on each card - that's not the point of the game. We have played this with many of our

Based on all the great reviews, I thought this would be a 'can't miss' kind of game. Sadly, it seems to have missed in our household. There are a few major flaws with this game that unfortunately I didn't see discussed in any of the reviews I read.

Here's the premise of the game: Everyone takes turns spinning the spinner. It either a) tells you how many spaces to move, b) has you remove a food from the pigs' picnic blanket (if all the food is removed the game is over) or c) has you turn over a Goldbug Card. Each Goldbug card has a picture and corresponding word on it (ex: barrels, flags, cones, numbers, etc). You have a minute to find as many of that item on the game board as possible. When the minute is over, everyone moves forward based on how

What a terrible disappointment. My kids and I LOVE busytown so I bought this version thinking it’d be even better with the Disney theme. Boy was I wrong. The game board has way too many spaces so the game takes a long time to successfully complete before the time runs out and the clock strikes midnight. So we’ve still have never won this game. Also, the pictures on the game board are insanely tiny. Minuscule. It loses the fun when we’re all looking an inch away from the board to try to decipher the tiny pictures. Save your money. Don’t buy this game and buy Busytown! Busytown is fantastic, fast paced and fun for all ages. And the drawings are great.

Like all of the green toys we have, this is a big hit with the kids! It is simple, but very well made. It has been thrown around many times and it is holding up well. All of our kids (6 months to 4 years) love this airplane. My kids have a favorite board book that is a perfect complement to the airplane (shown in the picture- "The Little Airplane", by Lois Lenski). Please mark if you find my review helpful. This was the first Green Toys product that I purchased and it has sold me on the brand! It's nice knowing that they are made from and packaged in 100% recycled materials. You would never know it by the feel of it, without even picking it up, the quality of the material is easy to see and it feels good in your hand. Quite often when you buy something online, it turns out to be much smaller than imagined, this is the opposite. I never expected it to be such a perfect size. This is the first of many, I can see my daughter passing these along to another child, if my grandson ever gives it up, which is highly doubtful. I absolutely recommend anything made by Green Toys!

These are truly quality building pieces. My 4 1/2 y.o. grandson and I spent several hours building with these. He loved what we built and wanted to make more. My only criticism is that there are not packs of some of the more needed pieces. After we built a few vehicles, my grandson didn't want to dismantle the ones we made. We had MANY strip pieces left to build more but we were out of block pieces and screws. I would like to be able to buy packs of screws and blocks so I could use ALL the pieces included. I looked everywhere to buy more parts only to find there are only two pack to be had...the one I bought with 163 pieces or one with 101 pieces. Company needs to either include more block pieces and screws or sell them in

No instructions supplied for the "42 ways to use this set". The child was really disappointed in lack of instructions. He was not interested in the beginner car demonstrated but rather wanted an airplane off the sheet, yet no instructions for him to do it himself. Toys like these are meant to keep kids occupied without active help from the parent. Stating it is appropriate for a three year old is a stretch. Cost too much as is.

This is an engaging toy that wins on so many fronts but alas, they blew it. I wonder if perhaps this toy was down-sized from its original and no one bothered to re-engineer it once scaled down. For the pictured projects, only some of which there are enough parts to construct, pieces interfere with other pieces so they cannot go together or the wheels turn in the configurations shown. My kiddo can still put pieces together in ways that satisfy his desire to build but we will pitch the instructions to spare him frustration and disappointment.

I got this set for my 4.5 year old son, and it was a great buy. The logs are made of solid, durable wood, and he can easily stack them. He still has trouble following the instructions (I have to explain him where each of the logs go), but once I give him directions he has no problems.

I did find the basic set to be a little limited (111 logs), so I have also got him the two cottages LINCOLN LOGS - Lake Union Lodge - 88 Pieces - Ages 3+ - Preschool Educational Toy and LINCOLN LOGS - Oak Creek Lodge - 137 Pieces - Ages 3+ Preschool Education Toy. The tin is very big, so I can fit the pieces for the three sets inside it, which is nice for easy storage.

I leave a couple of pictures of our constructions. Note that the Pokemon are not included! :)

Now that my twins have turned three, it's been a lot of fun buying toys that my husband and I used to have growing up. For their third birthday, my husband absolutely wanted to get our kids Lincoln Logs because they were his favorite toy as a kid and something that he wanted our kids to have. I never had Lincoln Logs so this is my first experience with them. There are so many sets of Lincoln Logs out there but I loved the idea of having a tin to store them in so we ordered the 100th anniversary set.

This set includes 111 pieces in a tin that measures about 11 1/2 inches tall. I've included a picture of one of each piece so you can see what is included in the set. Here are the quantities and measurements of each different piece:

I grew up playing on my grandparent’s set of Lincoln Logs that were a well rounded set with pieces that were interlocking and most would stick together when fastened. This last point is crucial for fencing in your log cabin with upright 1s and longer pieces. With no way to build fencing, or fencing that doesn’t topple over, my daughter’s cabins are subject to wolves, mountain lions, and other varmints that can walk right in through the wide open cabin door space or crawl in through the window space. When Kinex bought LL they clearly weren’t thinking about cabin security when they started mass producing these perfectly uniform pieces.

Fencing problems aside, this set doesn’t contain typical 3 slotted logs. You have your 1s, 2s, and long 4s, but the 3s are mysteriously absent. My daughter’s imagination will be limited to long ranch style home cabins, or short shack cabins, and

The size of these toys are perfect for the bath, pool or spa. I love how they will float, or fill with water and sink. Then easily drain with the drain vents The price is right as well. Cool looking sea plane. It's bigger then I imagined it would be. Almost too big for really small kids. Propeller spins. It kinda floats. The problem is that it sinks with the smallest ripple in the water. In the picture of the plane you will see vents located on the top of the pontoons. When the plane sits in the water it floats but the smallest ripple causes water to go into the pontoons causing the plane to sink. Our family used the plane in the hot tub and movement of the water from the jets would cause the plane to constantly sink. Search the other reviews for the word "sink" and you will see that it is a common complaint. After it sinks if you turn it upside down out of the water it quickly drains and then kinda

Yay! A game our littles can play, but is also fun for us parents!

The game is marketed as 7 and up, but our 4-year-old understands the strategy and often wins. If your child is scared of the dummy characters, I think you could easily remove the "+4 card" and still have plenty of fun with the game. The game is good with 2 players, but better with 3 or more when the action cards have a greater impact on the game!

The quality of the cards is great. The box did not last long, though. I found a blog (Miss Frugal Fancy Pants) that suggested storing Uno cards in an index card box.

I used to really be a sucker for any of the puzzle games like Rush Hour and the like. Logic puzzle types of games that would gradually increase in difficulty and be something all (or most) of the kids could work with to just force them to think differently.

But we were forever losing pieces and I just don't have any of them left any more.

Laser Maze is a puzzle like that, only since it is more "game-like" as far as size, I think we'll have an easier time keeping track of it. The basic idea is that you have various pieces with mirrors and angles, and one piece that emits a laser-light. The cards tell you where you must place various pieces (and sometimes exactly what direction the piece must be in, sometimes you have to figure out the direction to face it), and you set those

Before I start, I want to say my three-star rating is not necessarily advice to avoid this product.

The concept is terrific. It presents challenges both in logic, and basic electronic circuitry, at the same time. The challenges become increasingly difficult. Do not think that this is easy kids' stuff. I have puzzled over at least one of them for 45 minutes or more. The challenges are not just about figuring out the circuitry--how to get electricity to flow to where it is needed, how to set up both parallel and series circuits--but also about spatial relationships. You must use all of the pieces specified, and you must not have any loose ends. So in many cases, it is possible to come up with a solution easily, but you don't use all of the pieces, or you have a loose end. Then you have to tinker and experiment and (if you're

We have had this game for roughly three days now and have played Throw Throw Burrito every night since receiving it in the mail. My family has multiple closets full of games and this is our favorite, hands down, better than Pictionary, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Operation, Jenga, Boggle, Scrabble, ConnectFour, Checkers, Chinese Checkers, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, the Tempest, Hamlet, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona combined. Let me be clear: This...game...kicks...BURRITO. First of all, it's simple. You keep five cards in hand at all times and draw from a pile and discard into another as fast as you can, in order to make matching sets. Everyone draws and discards at the same time and usually the game is a giant mess. Second, you throw burritos at each other. You heard me. Occasionally someone draws a set of burrito cards, and then you have to throw burritos at your family

We're hosting an extended family game night next week and I wanted something new & different to play that everyone would enjoy. Our family loves rummy, PIT! and other card games so I figured I'd give 'Throw Throw Burrito' a try, even though we've never played or purchased 'Exploding Kittens' or any other of their games. And also even though someone in my family tends to injure themselves every single time we all get together.

Yesterday when this arrived, my husband and I sat down to learn how to play so that we can teach everyone else on game night. It is easy to learn and appropriate for all ages. It was great fun playing this, even with just two people, and it'd be a lot more fun with a bigger group.

So I matched the 'Burrito War' cards which means everyone grabs for a burrito and throw it at another player.

We tried this game for the first time at a work party, with eight adults spanning four decades in age. Needless to say the ensuing play was hilariously funny and after playing six rounds of the game we were coming up with crazy ideas as to how we could turn it into an all day office game or even take it outside and play across larger distances.

Other reviews have called the game "immature as heck", but our group found it to be completely hilarious and appropriate for all ages.

Note that we played with eight people at the table despite the game only being made for 2-6. I would recommend playing with no fewer than 4 as the rules get modified to accommodate fewer players and it would be significantly less fun. On the flip side, although the game say up to six players, we made it work for eight by

This was a gift to my 2 year old son from his grandparents. It is a simple little game with bright colors and a fun block ball to throw. The cards come in six categories-emotions, counting, body parts, colors, animal sounds and actions. My son enjoys all of them except the colors category-I think he finds it boring.
To play, the child throws the block and then you find a card with the corresponding color and do what the card says. For example, "Make a surprised face." "Pat your head 7 times." or "Moo like a cow. "
It lasts about 10-15 minutes with my child and then he finds something else to catch his attention. I think that is pretty good at this age. He will also find the block and bring it to me, wanting to play the game so I know he enjoys

I can't say enough about this game. Santa brought it for my autistic 3 year old son, in the hopes that it would be simple enough for him to attend to. It's PERFECT. He's extremely smart, but doesn't really play appropriately...until now! It's the first game that he could understand, follow the instructions, and tolerate turn-taking. The commands are simple enough for him to do (he needed some guidance the first time through a few of the cards, like "make a silly face", which doesn't come naturally for him), and now he knows what the cards say. It has been a confidence booster for him (and me, too!) and we're now seeking out other similar games.

We tried this when my son was 19 or 20 months, and he was SO EXCITED. A little TOO excited, it turned out, because he couldn't keep his hands off of ALL the cards. We did our best and then put it up, deciding we'd try again later. A few weeks later, he saw the cube in the closet and started asking to play. "Game? Game? Please?" So we got it out and had a BLAST as a family. We played by taking turns rolling the die and then handing our son the appropriate card to 'read' for us. Then we'd all do the action on the card together. It was so much fun! I didn't give the game 5 stars just because I think the die is weighted funny so that rolling is uneven and come colors seldom

I buy from Green Toys because their toys are affordable, the plastic is very strong/durable, and they are safe plastic. As a foster parent (but likely for any parent), I need toys that I can easily sanitize and clean. I need toys that will last. The kids that come into my home get their own toys, but we also have "home toys" (ones that they can play with while they are in our home, but don't go with them when they leave). Green Toys products makes great home or personal kid toys because they stand up to lots of use over time, and are fun for kids in my age ranges (7 years and under).

This tugboat is durable and great for bath and water table play. It can unsnap the few places it is held together so that it dries faster. I have not had any molding problems. Love

Seven years ago I asked some moms in a children's boutique in our neighborhood the one gift they received that they felt lasted the longest. They both recommended this tugboat. Seven years later and I'm still buying it for all the expectant parents in our lives. I recommend supporting your local businesses and buying it in a kids store near you, but if you can't find it Amazon is great in a pinch.

Reasons it's awesome: Easy to take apart and clean. Works for girls, boys, and anyone in between. Parents can use on baby during bath time, then child can use for bath time play as they grow. Produced from 100% recycled plastic. Made in the USA. Dishwasher safe.

We got this Tugboat because it makes a great fearless fun alternative to the dreaded hellish cup that is pulled from the kitchen cabinets. My child appreciates this more because she can actually play with this and make bathtime fun. It floats, sinks, pours water from a spout and it has a handle. What could a parent like me ask for? This was a perfect solution! Also the boat can be cleaned to prevent mildew, mold and soap scum from building up with a little know how, but be careful because the tabs may snap if you are not too careful! And it can be put back together!

I highly recommend this for Bath Time for any child!

I purchased this back in December 2014 as a Christmas gift for my son. It has been one of the most used toy (if not THE most used toy) in my house. My son is now 4.5 years old and my daughter is 2.5 years old. They both love it and always have it out. It's so durable (watch out if pieces are left around since they will hurt your feet!) and invokes creativity. They constantly are bringing us flowers stacked as high as they can make them. Now today my son just did something new with them which made me want to finally write the review. He put the flower pieces on the bottom and top which made it like a sculpture! Really awesome and such a worthwhile toy I've never regretted getting.

Funny story; I bought this for our three and a half year old for an Easter gift. The product description says ages two and up. While she enjoyed playing with it for a bit, it soon lost her interest. However! Her newly turned ONE year old sister LOVED this toy! She immediately started putting the flowers into the holes. The pieces (at least the ones we received), aren’t small enough to swallow, and hold up well to rough play. My younger daughter is now three and a half and STILL builds flower towers with this toy! I would say in general that this is geared toward younger children, and a big factor of how much play time it receives is also your child’s personality. My older daughter was not an early builder, as in she didn’t like to stack blocks, etc., but

My 2-year old loves this! Bought as a second birthday present and she immediately knew how to do it without any instruction. Very intuitive for her age. Nice colors without being overly pink. There are 3 of the center pieces that I had to put away in storage because they are choking hazards for her age now (too small and thin), but the rest seem fine. She can spend up to an hour playing with this. My only suggestion would be for the pieces to snap together. They just rest inside of one another loosely, so if it gets knocked over they fall apart. Often she will bring a flower to me, but if she doesn't hold it upright, it comes apart and is frustrating. I think this would be appropriate for minimum 18 months to up to maybe 4 years? We'll see when she gets tired of it, but

I bought this for a 3.5 year old in mind. He, and his 2 year old sister, have had GREAT fun with this set! My daughter is a bit too young to care about making things following the cards. She just sort of freestyles, but loves it nonetheless. My son not only follows the cards, but uses the pieces to make his own art. This keeps them both happily entertained for a solid 30 minutes.

My intentions were to use this as a restaurant distraction during outings. It's actually larger than I imagined, so while it's still going to make an awesome "please sit still and play quietly, your mac and cheese will be here shortly" toy, it's also something we're playing with at home. I have enough tiny pieces of random sets to pick up, and those are the bane of my existence, but this isn't so tiny that it's

I ordered this puzzle last week as a gift for my friends' 3 years old boy. He loves it very much. This puzzle includes 2 boxes, one is the wooden blocks, the other one is the cards to show how to play. Made by pretty good materials, and fun to play.

I am giving this two poor scores because although I love this set so much I ordered a second set. We opened it up immediately and some of the pieces are missing. The very first photo we tried to build was missing the pieces to complete it. This is very very disappointing. The first set was great. My twin grand daughters were not happy that they can’t complete all of the cards.
