I got this bottle when I was planning to do a summit attempt to Mount Rainer. I already had one which I sparingly used, but for this trip I needed 2 32oz ones. So I got this additional one. For purpose of mountaineering I need following:-
- Large mouth so that even if it freezes a little , it still allows you to drink from it. Also easier to clean.
- Use for keeping warm inside the sleeping bag after filling with hot water.
- BPA free for obvious.
- No leak since I need to put this inside my backpack.

Overall it met all the criteria's below. At summit, 50% of the water was frozen but I was still able to use it without any issues. These bottle are durable, I even kept these in my check in backpack while taking the flight. No issues what so ever. The marking can be useful if

I've bought about 7 different water bottles over the past couple years: Rubbermaid, S'well, Contigo, Living Solutions, so many! My favorite for the longest time was this $4.99 bottle from Duane Reade called the Living Solutions Tritan bottle. It was a beautiful size, held around 26oz, and I loved the built-in loop. Well, they stopped selling them all of a sudden and whatever was left went on clearance for half price. At the time, I was naive and just went with the color I liked most, not knowing they would never be seen again. But in the words of Dr. Seuss, I should be happy it happened in the first place.

So when the loop on that bottle broke in a freak accident involving a rogue suitcase, I bought about three different kinds of bottles from Amazon in the span of 2 months. The closest I found to my former love

I've used my wide mouthed Nalgene for EIGHT years, every day at every job I've had. We were inseparable. All the lunches we had together, the late nights, early mornings, fears of bosses, laughing at co-workers...ah the joys we had together. I didn't even treat it that well, dropping it on concrete, down stairs, throwing it in my car, and not a single leak. One time I threw it in my car without the lid on all the way, and it reminded me gently with spilled water that I needed to tighten the lid. I've left it behind almost everywhere, but we always found each other. Until one work meeting, left it in the conference room. I'm guessing someone grew quite jealous of our affection, and swiped it! NOO! Truly an end of an era. There really was a connection here. Well 8 years of daily use later is a

This is the ultimate water bottle for three reasons: usefulness, convenience, and style.Overall, I will probably never buy another type of bottle. They are either too clunky, not big enough, too big, not easy to clean, etc. I've never found the "perfect" one until now. This one defeats ALL of those issues. I have had Camel Backs, which I love at first, but they collect mold very easily and are just too much of a hassle to clean. Others just don't seem to last long enough, or are too pricey to be worth it.

This water bottle will never break, drop it on concrete or in rocks. I am an archaeologist, so it gets beat up in the field by shovels, rocks, being stuck in buckets with tools, etc. No cracks or damage ever.

I will say that I don't like the wide mouth ones because they are too hard to me

100% satisfied with my Nalgene narrow mouth bottle. For any who need clarification, the 1 quart size is the same as the 32 oz. It even has the approximate volume in ounces and mL. For some reason the 1 quart model was cheaper so I went with it. Anyways, the bottle itself is durable as expected and the color for the grey variation is spot on. I've already dropped it, full of water, and there are no cracks or any other damage to the bottle or screw cap. I carry the bottle by the plastic that connects the bottle to the cap, and it handled the weight without issue. The narrow mouth bottle is awesome for drinking water on the go and prevents spilling on yourself, especially while walking, driving, or exercising. Of course, it can be more difficult to fill up than

I got two of these, one was to replace the first one that broke at the neck (see photos). I thought that was a fluke so I got a replacement. The second one also broke at the casting seam on the side (also photos). This is only after very minimal use both times. I’ve had many Nalgenes and have dropped them full of water and frozen them and abused them and never had anything like this happen before. These are garbage and probably not real Nalgene products.

Getting this huge 1 gallon water bottle gives me the motivation to drink the water for a 12 hour period or within 24 hours to keep hydrate which in turn can make the skin healthier, supple and plump. Drinking plenty of water also decreases the risk of UTI, especially for women. Yay for me! It comes in a nice box, inside the box the bottle is nestle in a plastic drawstring storage. The plastic is definitely durable, the water sprout is well made, it is wide mouth, big enough to fit ice cube, with a rubber on the cap to prevent any leakage. It is also easy open and close cap, it flips open and close. It also comes with a long white scrubber for when you need to clean the bottle. However that long scrubber can’t fit in the area where the handle is. The bottle handle is

Ok, so I knew I needed to drink more water. Even with water tracking apps I was failing to keep track of how many times I had refilled my cup or nalgene. Enter the bottled joy gallon water bottle. I wanted to see if I liked having all of my water for the day at hand all day long. I do. However there are some things you should know.
Pros: Easy to read graduated side letting you know just how much water you did or did not drink that day.
Carrying handle is great.
Doubles as 8lb weight before you drink any water. Arms get a good workout every time you go for a drink.
Great conversation starter " Wow. That's a big water bottle!" "Geeze, that thing is huge!" Etc. Look like a real fitness buff without having to say a word.
For sure got all my water in for the day.

• Actually holds a gallon of water.
• Feels extremely sturdy with thick walls.
• The thickness of the bottle helps keep the liquid cool.
• Lanyard doesn't feel cheap and is well made. Attached by a thick metal loop with clasp. Easily attach your keys if you wanted. Good to grip to lift the bottle. The stitching is well secure and the clasp is really well made.
• Hinged Lid, on top, snaps locked into place on the screw on lid, and the rubber inside the cap, secures the fluid into the bottle.
• Mouth is wide enough to drink and chug if you want, but not so wide that you'll get a bath if you aren't careful.
• Markings are clear and don't show signs of wear, so should last a long time. It's also good to keep track and pace yourself all day. Meaaures in ml (3500), oz (140), and time (7am-7pm).

Probably like many of you, I’ve been searching for the perfect water bottle for a couple of decades now. Every time I think I’ve found one, a glaring defect emerges. It leaks, it doesn’t hold enough, the opening is inconvenient, it’s too wide for the cup holder, etc. etc. etc. I began to think I was searching for a unicorn, something that doesn’t exist in my reality.

And then Prime Day came along. I wasn’t planning to buy anything, but I browsed anyway. And there, among the rest, was the Simple Modern Summit water bottle. Eighteen bucks normally, and even cheaper on Prime Day? Eh, I’ll give it a go. The worst that could happen is that it’ll end up in the cupboard I call Graveyard of Disappointing Water Bottles, like all the rest.

I chose the 22oz, which is the largest capacity that will still fit into my Toyota Corolla’s slightly-too-narrow

I bought this after I rendered my previous bottle unusable (long story short, I dropped it on cement). I was debating between this or the Hydro Flask. Both had great reviews but I eventually decided on this one because I really liked the colors that they have. Of course the fact that it’s cheaper also works in my favor too.

Like most people I bring it to work with me. I simply refuse to buy bottled water, it’s a waste of money and bad for the environment. Every morning I fill the bottle up from my water pitcher in the fridge. I add a few ice cubes, close the lid and go on my way. The first time I used it I was surprised the ice cubes actually lasted the whole day. I’m not kidding when I say that they were still there 8 hours later. Obviously they shrunk a bit

It's vacuum insulation is astonishing... but it becomes useless if the lids are not well designed.
The 22 oz version comes along with a stainless steel lid and a flip lid. The stainless steel lid provides vacuum insulation and is leak proof, both of which are great BUT when it comes to usability it fails: the hole for drinking is too wide, so forget about drinking while on the move if you don't want to splash water all over.
The flip lid solves that problem, the drinking hole is small so you can drink while on the bus or walking BUT it's not vacuum insulated nor leak proof, so forget about cold drinks (the lid sweats A LOT) or putting the bottle in your bag (it will leak).
What's worse, I contacted Simple Modern about this and they just replied the do have a lid that is vacuum insulated, leak proof and has

I've been using a similar contigo bottle for some time but needed something to keep my water cold much longer. This is it. It's keep it very cold ALL day. I'm able to stay more hydrated because I'm the type of person that has to have very cold water. I also just bought this to keep it even colder and because the stainless steel also gets hot when in sun or even just really cold from water. This protects your hand. I gave it a 4 star so clearly I it. It does just about everything I expected it to. However there is a surprise factor that nobody seem to address. The mouth piece that you drink from is difficult to clean, I've only put water in this bottle (cold). Because the soft plastic that create the autoseal effect is always behind hard shell cover, if you pay close attention when you push the button to drink, you'll so discoloration, looks like mold to me. I've tried so badly to clean it. For reference, I've had it for almost 6 months. I notice this about a month ago.

I've added a flipped over photo so you guys can better see what I'm talking about.

I bought this bottle based on the rave reviews and once I got it, I immediately went through the return process. Horrible design of the top, there's no way to keep it clean and I guarantee it will breed all kinds of crud. Couldn't even get a toothbrush in there to scrub it. All this intricate spring top opening....who needs that, keep it simple to keep it clean and sanitary!!

love this water bottle! such great quality for the price. I included a picture of the 40oz next to the 32oz to compare sizes because I was curious when I was buying. The 40oz is just taller, not much wider, if not at all.

Great water bottles. I love the insulating qualities. Ice can last for 24 hours if you start with putting cold water from the fridge in with the ice. If you start with only room temperature water straight from the tap, a good portion of the ice melts immediately. That's nothing to do with the insulating qualities.
I also bought this bottle over other bottles due to the double cap. Remove the whole cap to fill with ice and water. Remove the small cap to drink from. It's most like a disposable water bottle cap which is the easiest to drink from in my opinion. Never any leaks with the good seals when you lightly tighten down both caps.
The only reason I lowered this review to 4 star was because of this....I bought four of these bottles. Two 40oz and two 24oz. I noticed that one of the bottles(24oz..irrelevant) was not keeping

I really like the Hydro flasks and I have a few of them, for any occasion.
There's however a few pro's and con's with these bottles.

Double Insulated - Keeps your water cold up to 24 hours
Wide mouth / different types of lids are available
Leak proof
Handle strap - Easy to carry by hand anywhere
Stainless steel - Haven’t noticed any rust inside or outside, so far!
Sleek and beautiful design + Slip free grip / Powder Coating
No condensation on the outside due to great Insulation
Lifetime Warranty

If not careful, it can get scratches and dents
Have to be hand washed / No dishwasher
Handle strap will most likely wear out overtime

The cons are nothing compared to the pros, however I personally like my bottles to last a lifetime, so I always find myself a sleeve to make sure it doesn't get any dents, or gets damaged over time.
After all it's a quite expensive bottle..

I found that the

Two weeks in and I'm loving it. Already traveled on a plane with it, took it to the beach, take it to and from work on my bike every day, and dropped it on the floor. I've never had an insulated bottle before so it's been regularly surprising how cold it keeps my water. I haven't achieved the 6/8+ hours of ice that some people claim, but I also don't use a lot of ice and often don't close the lid out of laziness. Part of the reason I got this one is because it has a flip-top straw sport lid, but I haven't bought it yet. I was surprised by how tall it was, but it needs to be to hold 24 ounces AND fit in cupholders (which it does easily) AND have a vacuum sealed insulated liner inside. I was especially surprised when I leaned forward to sit

I've had this bottle for about 9 months. It is a workhorse! I take it everywhere with me and always have water on hand. I LOVE the large 40 oz size. I have upped my hydration game!

Unfortunately, after about 6 months, the bottle began to sweat profusely when there is ice water inside. It got the contents of my bag wet and left big rings on the table. It gets very wet and sweaty, and the ice melts within 6-8 hours.

I contacted the company, and within a couple of hours they sent me a message with a discount code to order a new bottle on amazon for a 99% discount. (Apparently amazon doesn't let you give 100% discounts). So, a brand new 40 oz iron flask for $0.28. No muss no fuss, just another awesome Iron Flask. Very generous and speedy customer service. I've been debating between the Hydro Flask and the Iron Flask, I finally decided on the Iron Flask for three reasons. The first reason I chose the Iron Flask over the Hydro Flask, is that it comes with three lids instead of one. I know that you can purchase additional lids for the Hydro Flask, but it's at an additional cost, whereas with the Iron Flask the lids are included. Secondly, I purchased the Iron Flask because of the sleek design, they have changed the logo on the flask from painted to engraved, which should last longer than the original design of the Iron Flask bottles, in addition, the Iron Flask is more contemporary, in my opinion than the Hydro Flask (as far as logos). This isn't really an issue when it comes to the function of the flask, but if I'm going to be carrying around a 40 oz

I recently received my Iron Flask and I'm thrilled with the quality! I put it to the test right away, filled it up halfway with ice and then to the top with water, put it outside on a 90 degree day and waited, and waited, and waited.... 6 hours later it still had ice in it. I brought it in the house and set in on the counter...6 hours after bringing it in the house is still had some. 12 hours total. I did this test along with a regular metal water bottle. The ice in that bottle had melted within one hour and the water was very warm within two. It also had condensation on the outside which the iron flask didn't have. I saw other reviews stating that the lid smelled and I experience that. The water tasted fresh the next morning

Because of the verbiage in Hydro Cell’s ad on Amazon, I thought my new, 22 oz flask would come equipped with a straw cap as well as the full cover. However, this was not the case and when I contacted Hydro Cell about it they immediately, (and I mean five seconds after I went to their website and posted my concern) assured me they’d be sending out a straw (Sports) cap today. I was so impressed by their customer service, as well as their beautiful and functional product, that to not give them five stars would have been a real crappy move. Dean was the person I spoke with and he was courteous and professional. I’ll be going back to Hydro Cell for their other flasks, for sure!

Love this water bottle! I drink between 1 and 2 gallons of water a day, so the water bottle I use is very important to me. I’d been feeling weird from using my plastic Nalgene bottle. I’ve heard from a lot of sources that even if the plastic is BPA-free, it still affects the water quality and puts harmful plastic byproducts into the water. I’ve made the switch to hydro cell and feel much better about the fact that the stainless steel interior will not get into my water. As a bonus, this does not sweat and keeps my water cold for an incredible amount of time! I filled my bottle with ice water before a round of golf the other day, left it in my car in an 85 degree, full sunny day, and I came back 5 hours later to water that was still refreshingly cold. Did that

I owned the older Chute model (two of them actually) and even though it was my favorite bottle, I always wore out the thin straps that held the small bottle cap down or kept the larger lid in place. I also found it rather difficult to pin down the small lid when drinking, so it would always come back and hit you in the face unless you held it down. The magnet solves that well. I also find the top much more sturdy than the original model.

Bottom line: This newer model was clearly a response to these issues found in the original model, and I love the changes they've made. It also doesn't seem to leak as much as my older Chutes did. Always nice to see well-thought-out design improvements that are clearly based on customers' responses.

I had previously owned the non-mag version of this bottle and liked it. After I had accidentally left it in an area I couldn't return to, I decided to buy the "new" version. The only thing I did not like about the original was that it was too big to fit in a typical cup holder. But, the plastic was quality and doesn't disintegrate and pollute your water like cheap plastic bottles do. This version is no different, I'm fairly certain the dimensions and construction of the bottle are the same. However, the fill gradiations that existed on the side of the bottle have been removed, leaving you to guess how much you put in or have left.

Now the issue of the new cap. The plastic is still solid, and it doesn't leak, but there have been some regressions. First, the retaining piece for the cap onto the bottle has

I have been using Camelbak bottles for the past 6 years. I started with the Eddy, which I loved for it's simple one hand use and pleasant drinking straw, but it would get dirty easily and sometimes mold. I have been using the original Chute for the past 3 years and absolutely love it. It is very easy to clean and there are no parts that are susceptible to mold. The cap is easy to open with one hand while you are working at your computer at work. You did have to hold the cap open with your index finger while drinking to preventing it from touching your face depending on how high you were tilting the bottle.

I thought this new Chute Mag would be the same bottle but with improved so you did not have to hold the cap while tilting the bottle super high. I was WRONG! The

I am beyond happy with my purchase because this bottle has everything I could ask for.

What this water bottle offers that others do not:

•Perfect Fit- the best place for something to be secure yet still accessible in a vehicle is the cup holder. Most, if not all, 32oz water bottles can not fit into a cup holder but this one does! That is a big deal for me because I drive a patrol vehicle all day and the only place to keep my water is in the door.
•Easy Open/Close- it only requires one hand to operate. That included pulling down the locking catch, pushing the button that releases the lid, and same goes for closing the lid and securing the latch.
•Every Drop Counts- this is something you will not find with other water bottles and that is a time marker. It comes in handy when you are trying to keep

When this arrived in the mail, my daughter asked what I needed another water bottle for. She was right, I didn't need another water bottle, but, in defense of my shopping habits, I told her this bottle was different. At the time I didn't know how right I was. But now, after a week of getting 64 ounces of water in every day, I can officially say, I LOVE this thing! First, the time and ounce measurements is so handy that I think I might be getting a little OCD about getting the correct amount of water at the correct time (I need to work on that). The top flip-up mechanism is awesome and appears extremely sturdy. Sometimes I just like popping it for fun (I have a boring life). And don't even get me started on the handle! Obsessed! This bottle is awesome! Replaced my other one I got from my supplement store because it was plastic and didn't stay cold but holded 40oz. Got this one in arctic white and I love! My boyfriend has been jocking it so hard since I got it he asked me to get him the black! Ha! The arctic white gets a little dirty sure but so far has wiped clean fine. My Bca's I put in it (which is watermelon so its pink) does stain the lid/mouthpiece a little. But that luckily has wiped clean easy too. Definitely glad I went with this bottle, wish I could get all colors!

I don’t usually write reviews cause I’m usually busy either petting my dog or look for my dog cause she feels smothered and “needs space” (her words, not mine. This bottle gives me a feeling of peace, like the world must not be so bad because of it’s beautiful design, ease of use, and the fact that it keeps drinks hot or cold without me even thinking about it. I love the size of the spout, it’s as if scientists came together and concluded that that was the best size for liquid flow and lip comfort. A really appreciated added bonus is the rubber bottom, so you don’t seem like an angry salesman demanding things go your way every time you put your bottle down on the counter. I’ve had this for a year now and am finally throwing in the towel and getting a different bottle. Not long after I got it the inside of the cap came unglued and I’ve been having to Keep putting it back in. I’ve dropped it only a couple times and both times it made dents in the bottle. But the WORST part is the perpetual mold. It doesn’t seem to matter how often I clean it, the next time I look there is mold in the cap, around the inside of the spout, and in the bottom of the bottle. I was so grossed out this last time that I threw it in the trash :( Also it’s really heavy. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it doesn’t leak and I like the handle, it makes it easier to carry.

I have a cupboard filled with expensive and inexpensive water bottles (picture included) and it has been trial and error over features, taste, leakage and easy to use.

I decided to buy this one because it had the chug and straw top and I liked some of the reviews. I bought two more for two family members that wanted to try it.

When they arrived we were pleased with the 24oz size and colors we chose. We washed and tested them for a week. Me and the family members love the chug top.
If you put hot liquids, sip carefully. It really keeps liquids cold with ice for 24 hours and some ice was still in the flask.
I bought another one for me and the two family members. We use one just for water and the other one for other liquids.

It's easy to clean if it gets any stains. I let 3/4

I mean, it's a great looking bottle. However I don't know if mine isn't vacuum sealed properly (ice tends to melt quickly although the water itself does stay cool inside). Additionally, it makes a weird sound (see video) when you drink from it and it's loud enough that I've avoided drinking from it in class/meetings so as to not be a distraction. I would not recommend this bottle, go with Simple Modern or a more expensive Hydroflask - I have used both of those brands and I've had better success with them.

I am constantly toting around a water bottle & don’t care for the metal insulated ones because they add so much extra weight. Since I prefer room temperature water I don’t have to worry about a “sweating” bottle. Did I mention I live in hot & sunny Florida? A small 2-3 cup bottle doesn’t cut it for me. This 48 ounce & PINK water bottle is the bomb! I also paired it w/a screw top straw lid (click on my profile to see that item) & am thrilled because who wants to try to drink out of this huge thing & have water slop down your face? Another plus? It snuggly fits into the cup extender I also purchased on Amazon!

Great watter bottle! Super durable yet light enough to take back packing! I fill mine 3/4 full and freeze it solid for a full days worth of ice cold water on the trail. On winter camp outs I fill it with boiling water and put it in my sleeping bag to keep me warm. I've dropped it many times hiking and climbing and it didn't do anything! I prefer the wide mouth for easy adding of ice and powdered drinks with the addition of a splash guard for easy drinking. (See pictures) I've owned camelbacks, hydroflasks and many other types and nalgene are by far the best water bottles I've owned. Some of mine are going on 10 years and still going strong.

I'm not someone who is easily put off by the perception of odd smells or chemical smells from items. Usually, I'll see a lot of people warning about the smell of an item in reviews and I'll buy it only to discover it's completely fine. I assumed this would be one of those instances.

I bought two of these recently based on the fact that they were just your normal Nalgene bottle -- but bigger.

As soon as I opened them, the chemical stench was enough to make me dry-heave. It was intense. It smelled like these bottles had been storing Ortho weed-killer in them for a long time. That's literally what it smells like -- Ortho weed killer. If you've ever stored some of that in your garage, you'll know it, too.

So, I opened the lids and let them sit around for a few days. Nothing. Then I rinsed them out

I love this bottle. The large screw top is great to fill up but the lid with the smaller opening makes it easier to drink out of (opposed to a large opening which is harder). That is the best selling point and what makes this better bottle than others. SO much easier to drink out of the bottle with this cap. Perfect size and most of all great to track your H20 intake on a daily basis.

This is a great jug that will motivate you and remind you to drink a lot of water. I see a lot of people using jugs like this at the gym. Water is sometimes a good substitute for over eating, because sometimes you feel like you’re hungry when you’re really thirsty and this will definitely lead quench the thirst. Also it’s a good look and the spout is good also.

I relaly like this water bottle. It feels nice in my hand. It seems sturdy enough. The messages on the side are entertaining and actually help you keep drinking water. I like the strap and the rubber cap feels good to screw on and off. The spout in the lid is a little small, which is different from other caps, so you have to get used to it. But I like that if the water bottle tipped over you wouldn't have a torrent of liquid pour out. Overall I recommend this bottle if you're really trying to get your water in each day.

I can’t believe this product gets so many bad reviews for the fact that it’s not dishwasher safe. Who cares! It takes two seconds to wash the bottle. The fact that it literally keeps my water ice cold (without any ice) for hours is amazing to me. The 20oz is a great size, slim and not bulky yet large enough to hold a good amount. It’s stylish, sharp looking and functions as you would expect! Love the magnetic lid. It’s a well made bottle that has exceeded my expectations right off the bat.

I love these bottles! This is my second 20oz (The first is still in perfect condition, I just wanted the cool new lid) and I just ordered the 32 oz which will be the perfect in between size for when I need more hydration.
I agree it's not cool that the description says dishwasher safe but then the bottom of the bottle says it is not. I can handle hand washing my bottles so I am okay with that.

*Update -2 stars.. The cap went from a half twist to a full 360° twist to get it off. Huge fail in my opinion
*2nd Update - Back to 5 stars. You get used to the new lid. I love it.

I have 3 of the old design and absolutely love them. This new design with new cap is a complete let down. Ice does not even stay for 12 hours. I used to be able to put ice in the previous version ONCE and it would last at least 36 hours. Now I can't even make it through a day on one ice fill. And I fill it to the top with ice prior to putting in cold water. So disappointed!

Ok, first let me touch on a few of the one star reviews:
• if it stinks by the end of the day, that means you’re backwashing
• it clearly says in the description not to drop it
• it’s common sense that if you drop anything, it’s likely to break
• it’s also common sense that you shouldn’t carry it solely by the strap if it is full
• to the person that said it’s more than a gallon, not true. I filled mine up with a gallon jug of water last night and it is exactly a gallon. The jug you have sitting next to it in your photo is just a different shape.
• yes, it is hard to drink out of if it is full because of the weight, that is why you buy these straws to use with it: Boogiee 12 Inch Healthy Reusable Silicone Straws For 30oz 40oz

Loved the product, but the plastic piece that holds the strap around the neck broke while I was carrying it and it busted into pieces.

The problem with many water bottles, is that a lot of companies continue to re-engineer the functionality, possibly so they can feel good about charging prices that are nothing short of extortion. Why anyone would pay $20 for a water bottle is a mystery to me. I'm a grown-up, so I needed something straight-forward, that would seal tightly, and didn't have a lot of dumb features, like a straw, or a lanyard, or a compass, or an ice hole, or a rubber suit, or whatever else. This bottle fits the bill perfectly. It holds liquid, it seals effectively, and it's easy to clean. It's also inexpensive enough, that I'm not worried about losing it, or possibly backing over it with my car when it rolls off the roof, after I left it there while getting in, because I was more concerned about making sure I didn't drop my open

I'm the wierdo that researched water bottles for like 2 weeks before buying one. I wanted something that fit in my cup holder, that was easy to drink from, east to clean, and I could easily put ice in. This is a winner! The lid snaps so securely and it fits perfectly in my cup holders. I carry it by the ring often. Super happy with this purchase!

The Pogo clear water bottles with the chug lid are my FAVORITES. They're *only for cold beverages*, of course, but this bottle has made it a breeze to meet my hydration goals for the day.

The chug lid is perfect for drinking and for cleaning. There's no weird straw thing to try to clean (and just hope there's no gunk stuck in there!), and both pieces are dishwasher safe. Even better, once the chug lid is closed it is virtually SPILL-PROOF! I didn't believe it at first, since I seem to manage to spill the contents of bottles in my bag on a regular basis, so I gave it a shot. Once closed, I can put the bottle upside-down or on its side in any direction, and not a drop leaks out. Of course, if the cap comes undone that's a different story, but if I toss this into an open

After years of forking out cash for other upscale brand water bottles for my family of 4, I angrily cleaned out my water bottle cupboard (yes, I have a water bottle cupboard) of broken, missing parts, leaky water bottles that averaged $20 each or more. I glanced over at the counter and there was my husband's trusty Nalgene (looks exactly like this except grey...not much has changed) from 2007. The volume measure on the side is a little worn off but still legible, and the bottle and cap are still trucking along, not leaking, doing their job, after a decade.

I realized, those water bottles have been in the dishwasher multiple times per week for 10 years. He's dropped them many times on various surfaces. He literally dropped one off a cliff while hiking and it survived. They've been left in super hot and super cold cars, frozen solid full of

I have been using these bottles for camping, travel, home use, and many other purposes for at least 20 years. They went camping with my son in the Rockies, with me in the Texas Big Bend Desert, to the forests of the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, and all up and down the Appalachians. These bottles are almost indestructible; the only two I've ever seen destroyed was one that was purposely collapsed in a laboratory, and another that broke apart because the water in it froze rapidly - water/ice being one of the most powerful forces in the world. Other than that, I've seen them thrown, run over, buffeted in rapids, and dropped off boulders for considerable distances with barely a scratch. I definitely recommend these containers for wherever you need to take them!

Working outside for a living, I purchased this bottle to keep water with me during those hot summer days (any day really, hydration is a must any time of year) and it has proven to be well worth the cost. I've had this bottle for about a year and a half now and since purchase, its been dropped countless times on pavement, concrete, and other hard surfaces, and has dealt with the abuse like a champ. No leaks, no cracks, etc. After a year and a half of abuse, all the paint on the outside (measurements, Nalgene logo) has long since worn off and the outside of the bottle has been scratched to a dull blue from constant contact with dirt and getting tossed around. It may be beat up and looking ragged but it's still holding strong. The bottle fits perfectly in my cargo pants/shorts pockets and not only
