Although the fabrics were mostly prewashed I wasn't taking chances with all the white on this quilt, pic attached. Worked perfectly! Very pleased. Next up a blue batik bargello that I'm working on. I will update when I've tried this product

I dye a lot of clothes with an all purpose dye that tends to bleed and fade with each wash. I read about retayne online and decided to give it a shot. The first time I used it, I didn’t rinse the dye, I just submerged the over-dyed black garment straight from the dye bath into the mixture of retatne and HOT water and started stirring.

I use to use color catchers but noticed my color didn’t always stay bright and thst I sometimes had to was bright colors like red, blue and green more than ones. Since using Retayne for all colored cotton quilting fabric that comes through my door I notice such a change in the brightness. You can pin brights in hot water with the

I had a large tear in my upholstered bed that was frayed pretty badly. I applied this glue, trimmed the fray and was able to sew the tear closed without any further fraying or ripping. This sealant definitely added some strength to the weakened fabric and made for an nearly seamless repair. Highly

I use this with almost every sewing project and on most craft projects that involve fabric. Any fabric ribbon that gets trimmed needs a little spot of Fray Check, on both ends of the cut; the trimmed section and the end left on the spool. The hold lasts through plenty of wear and many washes. Extremely useful

I've heard of "Fray Check" for years but never tried it. I recently started making embroidered patches with my Husqvarna Diamond embroidery & sewing machine and wanted to make sure the patch edges, which have a satin border, don't fray in the future. Fray Check goes on clear without discoloring the thread nor darkening it, like

This is a good standard fray check, just like what you would find in a brick and mortar store. This product is a little pricey though. The brick and mortar store sells it for less. If they came down on the price I'd give it 5

This product works well as far as sealing the cut edge of fabric. My complaint is that I needed it to be soft and it dried brittle. Because it was for a doggy coat, I could no longer use the coat because it scratched the

This product is fantastic. I pre-washed some batiks in plain soap and water and lost a lot of color. Washed the same fabric with Retayne and color was stabilized. Colors are wonderful after using this

Obviously with anything like this it really remains to be seen. I had a smaller tear in my drivers seat and with all this isolation nonsense finding someone to fix it right now was proving to be a pain in the neck, so I decided to patch it up for the time being. I looked at a variety of products, reviews, etc and settled on this. It

This tape was very easy to use. I have a leather office chair that had several rips In it and I had it repaired in under 10 minutes.
Also, the black matched my black leather chair perfectly.

Cons: I am afraid that the tape will not stick forever but I think it will last until I need to purchase a new chair.

I got this to try on something else thinking it might help. It did not work as I intended it to. Do not rely on my review if you get this for it's intended purpose such as Sofas, Suitcases, Furniture, etc. It did not want to stick very well. Honestly I feel like it's adhesion would not stick long to anything but again it was not used on

I am NOT in any way, shape, or form talented when it comes to sewing. In the past I had relied on Stitch Witch to get me by, however, that product would not work on the specific project I was currently working on. This product worked just as it said it would. All you need is a thin line of it (works and looks similar to Elmer's glue) and

Worked great for my faux sewn pillow project~! A little goes a long way. I was able to "sew" three pillows with the Unique Stitch, which have held up for almost 2 years now. I have no complaints. You do have to make sure the wait for the clue to dry before doing anything else with you project... dried in about 15

This has great reviews. Not sure why. I couldn’t get it to make the fabric stick together. Used on a 60 year old dolls dress I’d washed by hand. It’s almost like the glue starched it and it looks better than it did, but it’s not stuck together. It also discolored the fabric. Update: I used Modge Podge and it did the job. Who knew.
