We have had so much trouble with our Bob's Discount Furniture Recliner Sofa. The latest issue was the recliner cable snapped at the pull lever. After doing some searching, it quickly became evident that measuring the old cable was going to be important.

I flipped the sofa on it's back and removed the cable. I took a picture of t

I bought some off-brand furniture and like many others, have found that the plastic recliner handle breaks over time. 6 year old recliner from Rooms to Go with broken cable. This product worked like a charm, however no instructions came with it. My original cable snapped and the end with the S hook was on the ground under the chair. Didn't have a clue how a recliner worked or where the new cable and S hook connected. Why in the world do furniture manufacturers put plastic latches on couches that are so stinking expensive?! One of the plastic latches on our couch broke completely in half about a year ago which rendered it inoperable. I have an Ashley chair and a half that the original pull just snapped one day. We (my husband and I) didn’t even have to YouTube a video to put it on, not to say it was super easy but if you are even minimally mechanically inclined you can do it. Was going to cut and try to amend my broken one. The metal cable inside got frayed and had to cut the plastic sheath to get it out. Then found this...such an easy replacement and works as good as new. Evidently seems to be universal as I got my couch wholesale with no name brand on it and worked as original.

I ordered these pull handles to replace a broken cable on one of my recliners. The original pull cable snapped inside the channel and pulled right out of the recliner. The power cords for our reclining loveseat and sofa went missing, the store where we bought the pieces no longer carried the brand, and the manufacturer did not have them any more, so we thought we'd give this a try. The power supplies that came with my Ashley power recliners were rather large bulky units that had the prongs for the wall outlet sticking out of the unit. This made the unit block the second outlet of a two outlet wall receptacle. These new units are a much smaller box that is inline with a power cord, so it is easy to plug two of them in

Install is straight forward, it is not any better than the one that came on the Slumber-Land recliner & Sofa we purchased a year and a half ago. Good price, works great and only took 5 mins to connect the 3 that I bought. I had to do some research because the motors for my recliners say 24 volt dc and these transformers' outputs are 29 volts dc. I wanted to make sure they wouldn't over power the recliner. The kids broke the pull on my recliner and this was the perfect fix. The only advice I have is if you install it and the pull is really hard then try rerouting the cable in a different position so it isn't pulling in a bunch of different directions. You want it to go down from the pull and straight back to the connector and not like an S.
