Bought this bike for our two year old and he loves it so we love it! Super light weight and easy for him to manage. After reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about the foam wheels but they are super lightweight and no flats! So they really are perfect for him.I like how at barely two he can manage his bike independently. Adds to

I've done a lot of research on balance bikes, and I've bought both a Strider 12 Pro and subsequently a Woom 2 for my daughter. In my opinion the Strider is a good balance bike, but it's not quite as good as the Woom 1 which I think is the best bike on the market. If I had it to do over I would have bought the Woom 1, but I didn't come

The product seems fine ... maybe a bit expensive for what it is. In retrospect, it may have been better to order a regular bicycle and remove the pedals/crank/chain etc. That way it can convert to a regular bicycle when the child is ready. The thing that *really* bothers me is that for this price they don't give you an owner's manual.

We have used Striders for our last three kids! There is no other way to go in my opinion! From experience brand matters! We purchased a wooden version and the seat did not adjust as well and it was too high for a long time! It also didn't move with as much ease as these! We've had three kids riding peddle bikes WITHOUT TRAINING WHEELS

Edit: We don't live in a flat area, and this bike's lack of any kind of brakes is rapidly becoming a problem. If you live somewhere that isn't perfectly flat, beware; this bike can build up a lot of speed that your child might not be able to counteract. We got this for my two-year-old. He adores it, and is having a great time learning

We bought this when my son was 18 months and he did not fit on it at all. At the smallest setting, he could not reach the handles from a seated position. I think he was around 33" tall. He is now 2 years old and almost 36" and he can barely reach. I don't think he has dinosaur arms. He's a pretty normal sized kid. He still likes

Got this for my 5 year old who was struggling on her bike with training wheels... took her to the bmx park and she mastered the balancing part in a day.. after just a couple weeks we put the pedals on and she is riding like a champ. Easy to take the pedals off so she can race her strider with the other balance bikes. Wish it came in

My son started on the original strider balance bike at 2 and recently asked (now 4yrs) if he could have a pedal bike like big brother. I didn’t feel he was quite ready for a pedal bike but researched to see what our options were. Found this newly released Strider 14x and figured why not stay with Strider, they are proven knowledgeable

Apologies for the length of this review...Awesome bike. BUT, my mind is still blown that you have no brake at all without the pedal kit though. My son isn't strong enough for pedals since we live in a very hilly area but he loves to cruise and can balance great. So I remedied that. Started with just a back brake but that isn't enough

I originally commented about a problem I had with this toy. This is an edited comment. When we assembled it, the back wheel did not attach properly. So we had to drill a hole for the screw to hold the wheel in place. After reading the review, the company contacted me to make things “right.” It is refreshing to know that this new,

I purchased this for a 1 year old boy's first birthday party. The mom said of all his gifts, this puppy is the one he could not stop playing with. He squealed when he saw it. I spent months scouring Amazon looking for a balance bike for my two year old. It seemed like every bike out there had major complaints about it. After reading the almost all positive reviews for this bike, I decided to spend a bit more money on this balance bike compared to some of the others. I wasn't disappointed in my choice. My

This is an amazing tool to teach the kids balance quickly and safely. They naturally will want to go faster and will pick up their feet to do so, thus learning balance. It is easily height adjustable, very sturdy, and not heavy. My recently 5yr old daughter was pedaling her bike on training wheels, and then playing on this. After a few

Very cute and a great bike to start having your little ones learn to ride. My son who’s about to turn 18 months can fit on it nicely although he is still a little short so it takes some effort to make the bike move. Also the seat he’s usually at the very tip . It’s light weight and easy to move around. Other then that he loves it

We love this bike. I saw a kid racing around the playground on this one and immediately pulled out my phone to figure out what it was... We absolutely LOVE it!! The adjustable height makes it perfect for either my 2yr old or my 4yr old to ride around on. It's built very sturdy, my youngest is a walking disaster and even she can't do any damage to this thing. The metal parts are solid enough to not bend or dent, and the plastic is thick enough it's virtually impossible to

Great quality; great looking bike. My four-year-old son is crazy about it and is already balancing for 10 feet at a time.I find that many people I talk to don't know what a balance bike is. I didn't take the time to read any reviews (last minute Xmas gift) so I did not realize there is no footrest on this bike. Other balance bikes allow the kid to scoot up to speed and then rest their feet on something while cruising. This one requires the kid to execute an isometric hold to keep their feet from dragging on the ground. Good

Best way to teach a kid to ride! Just the thought of teaching my son to ride a bike made me anxious, but this Strider lets him go as fast or as slow as he likes and he's in love! He rides it everywhere, even in the grocery store. There's a BMX track near us so we entered a few races. It's super cute watching the little ones stride along.

Ok, for starters, this is not a replacement for a balance bike like a strider. It is smaller and doesn’t require the same kind of balance. This is more of a pre-balance bike. After reading the reviews on how small it was, I bought this for my son when he was 10 months and already taking his first steps. He is an average sized baby.

We love the Schwinn Balance Bike we bought for my 2.5 year old son! Especially when compared to his friend's Strider bike, the Schwinn wins hands down (in our opinion). Here's why: 1. The Schwinn bike is much more sturdy because it's heavier, but not so heavy that my now 3-year old son can't pick it up easily. The rubber tires are great
