Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This small volume covers just about everything you'll need to know and includes full day itineraries should you be looking to do the touring on your own. It's also small enough to put into a purse. You can carry it with you everywhere.
I usually get the Lonely Planet guidebooks but this one was cheaper so I tried it for a change. Wow, so much better in my opinion. The photos alongside comprehensive details gives a great impression and also inspiration.
Bought a few of these books for reading as cannot get a holiday yet. DK books to me a the perfect blend of information and pictures which gives you a great indication of what you can see and enjoy. having been in this area some years ago was a most refreshing read.

I'm tech-made so do all my research for trips online. However, I do find guides like this still have a use. This guidebook is thoughtfully set out with a lot of very useful information and tips. Having visited Florence and Tuscany (I love San Gimignano and Sienna especially) in recent years, I can assure you that you will find this book helpful.
The pull-out laminated map is bonus too - while you can use Google maps etc, it's handy to get a map out on a table to plan with your partner what your itinerary for the day will be - much easier to visualise things around a real map. Speaking of which, the guide has good suggested itineraries built-in so you don't have to do the thinking!
Tuscany has so much to offer and this guide helps you make sure you cover what you'll most enjoy, including the obvious tourist hotspots but also some of the less well known places of interest in the region.
It's lightweight so easily taken out with you on day trips. Great value for money.

This is all you need to plan a trip to Florence, Sienna, Lucca, Pisa and the countryside and beaches of Tuscany. The guide opens with general information of what to see and do, and with suggested planns for trips of various durations, as well as what to expect at various times of the year. Then the book moves on the areas of Florence - what to do, what to see, and with suggestions of where and what to eat as well as some ideas about where to stay.
The second half of the book covers Tuscany more widely, including the cities countryside and the Island of Elba, before finishing with lots of practical information about arriving, living costs, transport and much more.
Finally there is a a laminated map which can be removed for ease of use and which should stand up well to frequent handling.
The book is beautifully illustrated throughout. I love Florence and this excellent book has given me lots of ideas for further exploration which we can go back again
