I grew up reading the traditional Santa version, and I like that this book has the same feel while telling the story of Jesus' birth. The only things that made me give it four instead of five stars is that The Wise Men appear in the book, and they didn't see Jesus until He was two and no longer in a stable. Also, toward the end, Mary says "Merry Christmas" to Jesus (no doubt an attempt to mirror the Santa book), and there's no way she would have said that because Christmas as we know it didn't yet exist. These are very minor issues, however, that most people probably won't care about at all.
