One of the lesser Berenstain Bears books
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 3, 2013
My daughter loves the Berenstain Bears series. We've only bought stories from the original 1980s run, but we have at least 15 or so. This one is one of my lesser favorites. It's just a weak premise. Brother starts doing poorly in school because he chooses to play while he is home sick from school instead of doing his homework. He gets behind and can't quite catch up. I would have like a different premise for doing poorly (maybe he's having difficulty with a subject or he's goofing off, etc.) As it is, my daughter couldn't really relate to the story that well.
