It has a good story line but not enough action. There were many opportunities for action things to happen but they did not develop. Not in the same category with Louis L'amour or Charles G. West.

Loved this book, likeable, believable characters. I had read the 2nd in this series first, so wanted to know what happened when it started. Looking forward to more from this series by Richards. This was my first experience with this writer, won't be my last. Have always loved western books, as did my parents. In my opinion this writer is right up there with Luke Short, Max Brand and other of the older western writers.
