You won't learn much for how big the book is
Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2019
I started doing preschool with my 4 year old son and bought this book to use for science. We read a good third of the book, but unfortunately neither of us could get into it. It quickly jumps around from topic to topic while rhyming and trying to add jokes, so I realized we weren't actually learning much of anything and it was boring for both of us. For example, a page about the wind tells you that a soft wind is called a breeze, a strong wind is called a gale, and a tornado is what picks up the farmer and his cow. My child and I would love to learn actual interesting information like what makes air move, how does a tornado form, etc. Now we are going through the National Geographic Kids First Big Book of ___ series and are enjoying that much better.
