Great Book For Counting and Addition Practices
Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2017
Do you like snowmen? Do you like to count?
The author, Jen Arena, has written a fantastic book about snowmen, all different kinds of snowmen, 100 to be exact. Each of them may have a group of like minded snowmen, looking the same, participating in the same activity or coming together for an event. When you read this book you will discover exactly what occurs, and how you can participate.
Adults will enjoy reading this book to their children. Or if your child reads, this is an excellent book to start. My granddaughter saw the cover of this book and wanted to read it. She loves to make snowmen, and then we found that this is a wonderful book that teaches math and counting skills. Counting to 100 and then backwards, adding all the snowmen in each activitybisxa great deal of fun. One of the best parts of this book is the illustrations by Dan Gilpen. They are bright, innovative, colorful and vivid. Each illustration depicts the activity of and the amount of snowmen involved. A great book for counting and addition practices.
