To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
These things never go out of style and have been a real life saver trying to do therapy with kids via video during the pandemic. A great way to teach parts of sentences, creativity, vocabulary, and practice delayed gratification. I prefer the original mad libs to the branded and niche ones as I feel they have a wider appeal. And I admit that as an adult, I love to do them too!
I absolutely loved Mad Libs when I was a child. I rolled with laughter reading the stories. I bought this one as a gift for some ESL students. They are finding them just as fun as I did. Very educational as well as fun for all ages.
The experience of madlibs holds true for this product, but I was a little disappointed that it used low-quality newsprint paper. To be fair, the price was right. I probably would have paid more for white paper.
My kids are cracking up over this thing; they love it! As a parent, I'm glad to see them putting on their thinking caps to come up with adverbs, adjectives, nouns, etc. too! Helps them reinforce some of those lessons learned in school in a goofy way.
I played with Mad Libs in the 1980s but they seem to be popular again. I think it's great that our kids can find fun in something that helps them learn at the same time. These books were awesome, packed with fun, well priced, and enjoyed by the family.
